I am a big fan of slurp at Norrebro, it has been so far one of my favorite place in Copenhagen. I was really excited to visit the new location in the city and I ended up being very disappointed overall. Shio was good, but nothing special - generally the quality of the ramen stand far behind of the quality I got at the main location. The main disappointment was the service. Upon arrival we were greeted and offered a table very quickly, so nothing seemed wrong. After 3 min the waiter came to tell us, we he wants us to move closer to the table - which is fine. They he came back to say, he wants us to move our bags, which also we understand. During ordering, he mentioned that they had only one shio left which is ok, and he offered us free lemonade. After eating, we were half done with our beverages, he came back to inform us that there are people outside the door waiting for the table (we just finished eating and just wanted to sit 5 min more to finish the lemonade) and we should mind it. We left right after, as we found him extremely unprofessional. In general, I don’t necessarily write opinions, but we haven’t seen that attitude for a very long time within restaurants service, and would like to...

This place tries hard to replicate a Japanese ramen shop with high tables and side-by-side seating, but unfortunately, it misses the mark in several important ways.
There’s no self-ordering screen, which is a staple in many authentic ramen spots. And surprisingly, even a simple glass of water costs extra—and it wasn’t even cold. Charging for basics like that, along with small toppings like flavored oils, just feels cheap and off-brand for a place trying to replicate the Japanese ramen experience.
The real dealbreaker, though, was the dog they let inside the restaurant. Not only did a male staff member pet it and let it lick his fingers - which is totally unhygienic and unacceptable in a food setting - but the dog also barked loudly on two separate occasions, causing the entire restaurant to fall awkwardly silent both times. It completely broke the atmosphere.
The ramen itself was fine, but at 175 DKK for a moderate-sized bowl, expectations are naturally higher. Unfortunately, the overall experience just didn’t hold up. The attempt at authenticity felt more like a visual gimmick than a genuine dedication to the essence of a real...
Read moreI have been a frequent guest at Slurp Ramen, especially for the ‘Nduja Ramen, which used to be my absolute favorite. However, after my last visit, I was quite disappointed with how much the dish has lost his flavor. The broth lacked depth, it had no noticeable saltiness or acidity, making it taste flat and one-dimensional. The umami was almost completely absent, leaving the broth dull rather than rich and flavorful. Another major issue was the minced beef. It was completely underseasoned. Since the ‘nduja and beef mixture is supposed to be a key flavor driver, this significantly affected the taste, making the dish feel unbalanced and incomplete. Additionally, the noodles had an overpowering raw flour taste, which also seeped into the broth, muting its flavor even further. Overall, the dish has lost its former appeal. It used to have a perfect balance of heat, umami, salt and acidity, but now it feels unfinished and bland. I’ve always returned for the ‘Nduja Ramen, but this time, I’m not sure if I will. I really hope this was just an off night, as I would love to enjoy it the...
