Villa Nile House - louxor — Hotel in Al Baairat Village

It you are looking for budget accomodation in a quiet area with a pool and great staff this could be the place to stay.

We had planned on staying at this hotel the staff here are lovely and very accommodating. The pool and grounds are lovely. There is a lovely open balcony area were you can see the Nile, to my knowledge no room has a view of the Nile only the top floor balcony.

We had booked the top floor two bedroom apartment with a tv bathroom and kitchen and fridge (only room we saw with a fridge), it doesn't have a view of the Nile. It was a bit dark. Unfortunately smoking is allowed inside and the room smelled of smoke. In the end we didn't stay due to the smoke smell. We had pre arranged a price ofv $30 euro.

We also saw a lovely double room on the top floor, it didn't smell and looked lovely, but we were a party of 4.

We saw a very long room top floor that had a double and 1 single that could easily have held another single it too was a little smelly (not as bad as the apartment). This room was a little dark.

We finally saw a large double room that wasn't smelly had lots of light, in the blink of an eye the staff had another double bed in the room all made up and there was still room for bags.

The rooms all had fans (can't remember if they had ac or fly screens). All bathrooms were small with showers and their own hot water.

The pool was pretty cold in winter. There was a small restaurant serviceable a little worn but not trendy.

As we didn't say can't testify...

This is a nice and well run 3 star independent hotel on the quiet west side of the Nile. It is a bit quirky with multiple levels, staircases, terraces and room styles. It is also convenient to the ferries/boats that cross the Nile and to some restaurants on the river.|We stayed for four nights and were happy with the accommodations. The room had decent AC, was clean, spacious, and the bed was fine. The pool area was very nice to come back to after a hot day sightseeing in the sun, the interior courtyard was nicely tended and the staff were very helpful and pleasant to deal with.|Breakfast was basic but good and the dinners were very nicely prepared, tasty and satisfying, at least the equal of other meals we had in Luxor. |Do be prepared to be awakened in the wee hours of the morning by the local mosque's call to prayer, as it is located directly across the road. This is not an uncommon issue in Luxor though, so it shouldn't deter you from staying here. |It's easy to recommend this place if you are looking for a nice but lower cost alternative to the big hotels on the east side of the river, if you want a quieter atmosphere, or if you want to stay at a place that provides a more personal relationship with the staff. It also doesn't hurt that it is super convenient to the west side tourist sites like the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut's Temple, the Ramesseum,...

This hotel was recommended to us by our travel agency 'Djed'.||First we stayed at the Djorf Palace, but the beds were hard like stone and the service very unpersonal , so we changed hotel and ended up in Villa River Nile House. Best Choice ever!||||Costa the owner is an amazing host. He makes you feel at home from the first second arriving in the hotel. The hotel itself is a beautiful quite oasis. From the upper balcony you have an amazing nile view. its situated on the west side of the nile and its very easy to take a water taxi to Luxor center. ||||The rooms are very spacious and the bathroom is super clean! And most important the bed is comfortable! What do you need more?||||The food is amazing and fresh as well. Breakfast with eggs, pancakes and fresh cheese and jams. Perfect! Every night (we stayed 2 nights, but I recommend staying longer!) we had dinner at the hotel. Costa asked us what we liked for dinner and prepared the best meals for us! I can say we had the best food of our two week Egypt holiday here! ps. they have delicious Egyptian wine! ||||The hotel grounds are beautiful with lemon trees and flowers. The pool area nice to relax and take a refreshing swim.||||we 100% would recommend this hotel in Luxor!
