I had the worst experience many times since I started ordering from zamalek branch. I placed many complains, and still the order doesn’t arrive with the best quality. I decided to give it another chance and pay a visit to the restaurant. Had an even worse experience, the waitress took the order without writing down, I asked her to write it down so she doesn’t forget, she refused!!! We ordered a plate (grilled chicken with rice) it came cold!!! When I told her that it’s cold, she took and warmed it to bring it back warm rice and super dry chicken. Order#2 shawarma meat laffa , the order came shawarma with Syrian bread!!! When I told her the order is not correct. She didn’t like that I’m complaining. Brought the right order with attitude, meat was super dry. Food quality is the worst I have had by far. The manager is standing there useless without even focusing on what’s going on. A lot of staff standing there doing absolutely nothing. Quantity without quality. When I used to order from dokki branch it was much better. I will never ever order again and will never recommend you to anyone. I am Syrian and your place Is the worse Syrian I...
Read moreOverall Experience: Small place but you can eat outside if you are a group of 6+, Decent food, a bit pricey (in comparison with competitors) and not all staff are welcoming and/or focused (make sure you show them from the menu what you want, as with us they mixed the orders and brought the wrong meal due to naming similarities).
Specifics:
Food: We were a group of five, we ordered different meals and four out of five liked their meals. (We all completely adored the Syrian desert)
Service: A staff member mixed some of our orders and brought the wrong meal due to naming similarities. It was an bit of an obstacle cause he refused to replace the wrong element he brought with the correct ones we order (We were super specific when we ordered, we spilled the name of the meals exactly like the menu and we even told the staff member what's the corresponding price of the meal we want to order.
Atmosphere: Small place and usually crowded. didn't feel comfortable inside as a group of 5. So, we moved outside and it was...
Read moreOur first afternoon in Giza, Egypt and we were referred to Al Agha for authentic local flavors and experience by both our airport transfer driver and a local bazaar owner! And it did not disappoint! It was bustling with local, friendly customers and Tarik, the manager, and many of the other staff were so nice and helpful in making suggestions and deciding what to try. We went with the mixed beef and chicken shawarma sandwiches with fries and salad. There was plenty of delicious food in the platters, and the price was great. The spicy sauce was so delicious we asked for the recipe. And you must have the mint lemonade! It was so refreshing and just the right balance of tart and sweet with fresh mint 😍. As if we weren't full and satisfied enough, Tarik offered the cheese dessert (I don't remember the name) that was the perfect finish to the wonderful experience. It was sweet and creamy with just the right crunch 🤩. We will definitely be back! We highly recommend it all! Thanks Tarik, and everyone else working...
