This place deserves its almost perfect rating here! Wow. If you're in Tallinn, this is one place you need to go to.
I went after freezing a little bit. The place is very warm and welcoming. You can sit, read, and chat forever - and seemingly, you are welcome to.
I ordered the Easter Pastry - and it was delicious. I believe it has cream and cottage cheese. If it sounds weird, don't let it stop you - have at it if it's on the menu! The barista very kindly introduced me to the pastry and answered my questions - I am a sucker for learning about the culture of the place I am visiting after all. I really appreciated that they took the time with me!
I also got the French-style coffee - which is with milk (I had oatmilk) and cognac. And that one gets a chef's kiss! Wow. The beans are apparently hand-picked, organic, single-origin Brazilian - which the barista let me know after I complimented the taste. Hey, it seems I know good coffee when I taste it (yeah, I am a coffee aficionado/snob who took pride in this - sue me!).
It's a little out of the way of the main tourist attractions but worth veering off to, I assure you. It's also close to the Eesti Panga Museum - a free museum on the Estonian Bank and Money! So I'd suggest to make it a...
Read moreWe were in the city center on a sunday afternoon and wanted to drop in to a café, We decided to try this place as We never heard about it before. The cafe has a central location, very convenient. It is a small place with just several tables. The entrance does not stand out much, the sign is rather small, but it was easy to find.
The enterior of the place is very pleasant: beautiful and comfortable furniture, large windows with a nice view to the street, beautiful porcelain, pleasant music.
The cafe serves a variety of coffees and teas (with a variety of milk options) and a selection of pastries. We ordered a cappuccino, a mocha latte with coconut milk and a traditional Estonian pastry with cottage cheese. Our order cost around 10 eur. The order arrived shortly. The drinks were very good and the pastry reminded the taste of childhood.
Overall this is a great location to spend an hour or two sipping fresh coffee and enjoying the view. The service is fast and polite, also here you will be understood in English, Russian and Estonian. The food and beverage quality was very good while the prices are very acceptable. The interior and the atmosphere are pleasant. This place can absolutely be...

The homemade cakes are simply amazing, and the lavender raf is a must-try - one of the best coffees I’ve ever had. The quality and care that go into every cup of coffee and slice of cake are evident.
