We came in on a Saturday night and ordered two double cheeseburger meals, one with gluten free buns as my partner is coeliac. The service person requested assistance from his colleague in processing the special order on the computer, and after a little while they ensured us the request was on record and we proceeded to pay for the order with the premise that one of the meals will be prepared gluten free. We waited for 5 minutes and my partner noticed there was no mention of the gluten free buns on the receipt, so we decided to clarify this with the staff. They confirmed that neither of the meals were being prepared gluten free and that none of the staff was aware of this! I would like to point out that serving someone who is coeliac a regular burger is extremely dangerous and damaging to their health. I asked whether the order can be rectified, but the senior staff member said we’d have to cancel the order and start over (there was a long waiting line at the time) and that in fact there is only one gluten free burger option at Hesburger, not any one from the menu like at McDonalds. Read moreMe and some friends yesterday were eating there. Ordered food and went donwstairs to wait for the orders to be ready. While we were there it was messy and dirty at the same time and this i the last thing you want to see when you go somewhere to eat. Long story short:We took our orders , eat them and after finishing food we were there for a few more minutes chatting about random things and suddenly the lights go down!!! We were thinking that it was closing hours but it was not even 20:00 . There were no orders or no costumers waiting for orders but they found this way to make us leave and there were a lot more people who had to leave after the lights went down. We ask them why lights went down and one girl acting surprised with a smirk on her face says it was an accident but it defenitely was not. We were not standing there for free !!! We paid for our food!!! Advice: Instead of making costumers leave maybe you should try to improove cleaning and make the place less...
Read moreI’ve been to many takeaway places over the world in my time & this was by far the worst experience I have ever had. For a quiet evening with limited customers, I was shocked that my meal took approximately 40 minutes. The staff did not show any sense of urgency & offered no apology for the delay. One of the staff members used his bare hands to handle ice cream cones & chips. The meal was eventually received and the burger had obviously been ready & waiting for a while as it was dry and almost inedible. I expected at least one of the staff members to put the customer first, but they were all the same. They are clearly only there for a pay cheque & more interested in engaging with their friends that visited and prioritising their orders. I also had to wait 10 minutes for the toilet to be unlocked downstairs. What a ridiculous system that is. Very disappointed to say the least & will never be back...
