WHAT A PLACE.. WHAT A GUY..

1. Food – absolutely delicious raindeer meat straight from Lapland farm. Being doubtful whether to give it a go with such an unusual meal, this guy promised me it will be good, but it was not - it was out of this world. I can`t even describe how good it was, with all alike quality and fresh toppings and veggies selection.

2. Customer service – what a great, welcoming Turkish guy, made the whole first-time raindeer meat experience even better. We spoke with each other for another half an hour after I finished the meal.

3. Interior – place is based by the Helsinki main market harbour, in the old market hall, where other diners are available as well. Pleasant, market hall atmosphere, not crowded at all, clean and kept in a well state.

4. Price – I believe, it was around 13 euro for Raindeer kebab with unlimited toppings/veggies, so reasonable and balanced for what you get in...

Amazing Food and Friendly Service at Kumpi Peruna!

I recently visited Kumpi Peruna at Vanha Kauppahalli in Helsinki, and I was blown away by the delicious food and warm service. I tried their signature Kumpi potato with smoked salmon and three toppings, and it was out of this world! The mashed potatoes were incredibly velvety and flavorful, perfectly complemented by the fresh, local toppings and the rich taste of the smoked salmon.

I also enjoyed a cup of Turkish coffee, which was the perfect finish to a delightful meal.

We have really loved it! At the moment we arrived at the oldest market in Helsinki, we had to see what we would get offered inside! So we walked a long and we had to figure out, what we will choose in the end! KUMPI PERUNA was the first, where we were interested, but it was in the beginning and we have thought, we have to go further. But the service (men and the woman) of KUMPI PERUNA has asked us, if we would try! It was delicious! The tea of them is also really good! If you like to eat some tasteful and really great, then take the potato and tea of KUMPI PERUNA! It will cost more then fast food, but it is money equivalent and something, we will taste again, if we come back to Helsinki! Thank you...
