This was by far one of my favourite interactions. The lady who was selling was the sweetest lady I have met. She was very considerate and immediately noted that we were Muslims so she pointed out which had alcohol in them and therefore we couldn’t have. She was so considerate to the point that she covered the ones with alcohol to make sure we understood her correctly. A bubbly sweet lady who makes you want to purchase everything there. Maison Alsacienne de Biscuiterie in Colmar offers delicious traditional Alsatian treats, and I especially enjoyed their macarons and meringues. They have shops in many location. The name of bakery shop isn’t very obvious but we can see the “red color” of their decoration and awning.

They have varieties of cakes with similar base ingredients. The macaroons maybe one of their specialty. We just buy assorted macarons 380gr in sachet.
