Pub food at restaurant prices. For a restaurant specializing in food for families and children, and located in the centre of a city known for gastronomy and local flavours, one would think that the dishes served would be innovative takes on comfort foods, with a focus on child-friendly portion sizes and quality ingredients. Unfortunately this is not the case. And when the tables suddenly fill up at 7pm, the kitchen crawled to a standstill. We waited over 45 minutes for our food to arrive. The server was kind, and reacted quickly when our order was not correctly served. But in the end, our four year-old ate dry chicken fingers, fries too small to pick up with her hands or a fork, and a green salad with enormous leaves. On the positive side, the childhood theme is fun and well-executed, and the restaurant is one of the few open on a Sunday night (most places were only serving wine and desserts).
Thank you to the staff for working while most other Dijon locals were resting - but please, serve...

We asked several times, but the guy never took our order, saying "30 seconds and someone will come", and then avoiding to look us on our eyes. Nobody came. And what's maybe more impolite at the end of this story, is that while we were waiting, a old couple went inside and the man at the bar offered them our table. But we weren't done, we hadn't ask for our food yet. We left before someone came to take our order. And the old couple...
