The Pâté en Croûte de Caille, Cochon, Foie Gras et Fruits Secs (Quail and Pork Pie with Foie Gras and Dried Fruits) at Arnaud Nicolas is simply one of the best I’ve ever had! The crust is unbelievably crispy—perfectly golden and delicate, yet it holds everything together beautifully. I don’t know how they achieve such perfection, but it’s just incredible.
The filling is a masterpiece: the rich, savory pork and foie gras blend seamlessly with the quail, and the dried fruits add just the right touch of sweetness. It’s not overpowering but rather enhances the depth of the meat, making each bite an experience of balance and refinement. There’s a subtle play of flavors—sweetness, a hint of ginger, the richness of the foie gras—all working together to create an almost farm-to-table sensation in your mouth. It’s sophisticated, yet comforting.
Beyond the food, the service was exceptional. The staff was warm, friendly, and welcoming—not just polite in a formal way, but genuinely kind and attentive. Even though we weren’t that hungry, they let us share plates, which was a great option for enjoying a variety of dishes without overindulging.
One thing to note is that Arnaud Nicolas is truly a paradise for meat lovers. If you appreciate high-quality charcuterie, this is the place to go! They also offer takeout, so you can bring their amazing pâté and terrines for a relaxed picnic—perfect for springtime.

Read moreWe went to the Eiffel Tower and had lunch here. I think it has a Michelin star (not sure please verify); but was very favorably reviewed in multiple sites. Wow, I was super impressed. We went for the "formula" menu which was entree, main course and dessert for 35 euros.
I got the cheese souffle to start and wife got the tomato, peppers and mozz salad. Both were mind blowing - the souffle was very airy, fluffy and the cheese sauce took it to another level. The salad - wow, can't believe something as simple as a raw tomato can be made to taste so good!
For main I got the sausage and wife got the hake fish. The sausage was on a bed of beans and balsamic vinegar based sauce - was divine. Wife also liked her fish. For dessert, I went for simple and got the cheese platter, wife got the rhum baba cake - she thought it was average.
I noticed some of the reviews mentioned slow service - we didn't experience any of that. I thought the staff were attentive and we never had to flag them down as they checked in often. During the course of lunch, the Arnaud was in the kitchen - we requested to speak with him and he obliged, even took a picture with us!
Overall, highly recommend going here especially after visiting the...
Read moreGreat food but poor service!
We made a reservation for eight people a week in advance. The staff is very polite and friendly but the place is understaffed. We had a problem with ordering drinks, waiting for food, removing empty bottles of wine from the table etc. The positive thing is that staff is extremely polite and they tried their best, this is the problem of restaurant management.
Food for very delicious, for main we had: Roasted Pigeon with confited Beets in Tatin style, Caramelized Almond and Cherries - great combination of taste of pigeon with beets and caramelized almonds Fresh Pork Sausage with mash potatoes - amazing sausage seasoning Blood Sausage with mash potatoes - outstanding dish Roasted Monkfish filet with potatoes and confited Peperroni, Marjoram & smocked Paprika sauce - delicious potatotes and confited peperroni
Desserts were average, we expected much more.
