If you are considering eating here, please at least read the owner’s reply of this comment, very informative and shows the true nature of this place, then you can make your own decision.Good LUCK. The meatballs in the pho is even not home made, the rice noodle is totally soaked and too soft, 24euro for this is not worthy at all. The chef kept telling every guest this is the “best Pho” in the world, is this a meme slogan or something? During our lunch, we can all feel the funny smell coming from the cat they kept in the restaurant. Don’t get me wrong, I am a pet person and I love all the cats and dogs, but still , as a restaurant, you’d better keep them in upstairs. We arrived at 13:50, and first dish came around 14:39, probably better to speed it up. We all felt nausea after lunch and ate nothing further that day. ————- unbelievable rude and disrespectful, your cat lied on the sofa witch we have to take, no one teasing your pet during lunch.this place should be shut down by authorities for the hygiene problem. I will write a letter now. —————— Respond to the file, you fullmouthshi liar. I will contact DGCCRF to make your kitchen examined thoroughly

Our group of four people were craving Asian food on Sunday. This restaurant was one of the few that was open near the Eiffel Tower. We got there early at around 7:30pm. We were happy to see the well fed black cat in the restaurant. We ordered one pho and one chicken leg rice plate with an appetizer to share. About twenty minutes after we sat down the chef hurried back with a big shopping bag. All three dishes were amazing that we had to order another pho. At first I thought they is one of the most expensive pho I have ever had. It is about double the price than your average pho restaurant. If you eat quality food regularly, you can taste the difference. The chef really cares about his ingredients and he charges on par with when I buy quality ingredients to make at home. This is a very small shop and the chef and his one waitress does all the work. Expect a wait. Don’t come here if you have other plans after. Come here to enjoy food and think of it as a private chef experience. Thank you chef. I enjoyed my dinner very much.

Wow, this place is amazing. The food is of very high quality and both the dishes that I tried (spring rolls and beef skewers) had an authentic taste with an interesting twist. It was the first time I tried spring rolls with shiso instead of mint and it was SUPERB. I LOVE Vietnamese food and have eaten in many of the most highly rated restaurants across SF and Honolulu and I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. Pictured below is an delicious dessert with the top layer what I would describe as flan with berries and the bottom cake a soft browned-butter tart. The waiter told me it was his personal creation. Honestly didn’t expect such a good patisserie in a Vietnamese restaurant, but this place started and ended strong with the Vietnamese coffee and this amazing dessert.

We went for Vietnamese food and high reviews but it was absolutely a disastrous experience! We noticed a Cat lying on the chair in the restaurant which I found awkward and unsanitary.. and a recurring smell coming from humidity or sewage lingering in the air. The Pho is around 25 euros and spring rolls is 15 euros which is ridiculous cuz this restaurant is far from a high end restaurant. But the huge problem is they only take Cash without any signage when we were ready to check out and I didn’t bring enough cash. I’d give 3 stars for the girl employee who was very nice and accommodating and let me withdraw the money from an ATM across from the street. UPDATE: The owner replied to my review saying my finances are limited to eat at his restaurant. I’ve spent thousands of dollars eating at luxurious/ high end restaurants but not at this mediocre Vietnamese food restaurant because it’s not worth it. You’re in restaurant business but you’re leaving such a low-class response to the customer’s review for you to show how unprofessional and ill-educated you are. And it’s a shame on you for doing business like this and take cash only. I hope they will be investigating and inspecting your business and your restaurant will be shut down soon! Oh I went with my little brother so clearly he’s not my boyfriend. So you call him out as my boyfriend and mention/make fun of the LGBT community is very sickening of you. Maybe the mentally-illed person is you then. It has nothing to do with the President of the United States and we voted for him so I’m not sure how I will be in trouble if he took the office. You need to seek medical health specialists cause I think you really need help when mentioning about the POTUS and the LGBT community because customers review your food and restaurant. One thing for sure about you is that you are not a man/ businessman cause REAL men don’t talk the way you do. LONG, you must have a husband who works in the kitchen with you because no owners would argue with their customers like you do. You just made yourself look bad! P/S: Although you deleted your responses and the comments you made, I evidently took screenshots of...

An updated review after seeing the response from the restaurant:

This is the exact kind of attitude and vibe this restaurant gave off on my visit. In Paris, tipping isn’t required nor expected at restaurants. I am from Canada where tipping is mandatory. I moved to Paris 3 years ago and have learnt that French only leave tips at restaurants where the service is great, and a lot of the times service charges are included.

I am not a tourist yet this place obviously wanted to assume that I was one and take tips from me. The problem is that they kept my change with intentions of keeping it, without the customer’s consent - which for the record was around 5 euros, not 2.

By leaving such low-class response to my review, the restaurant proves on their own terms their arrogance and aggressive attitude, saving the trouble of having to demonstrate how this place should be avoided. My 3-star review has now been adjusted to a much deserving 1-star.

To the restaurant: At least have the ability to comprehend why your action is thought to be wrong by your customer.

You’re in the restaurant business so learn to respect and appreciate people’s feedbacks. It’s constructive criticism, so don’t take it as an attack.

Third update: there are no hate speech in my review, just facts and opinion. ———

Food was underwhelming not only taste-wise but also portion-wise. It’s not the best quality price ratio, in my opinion. The reason for removing another star is because I paid in cash and the male server came back to clear the table without my change. At least say, “I’ll come back with your change.” If the customer wants to give tips, they’ll say “No, thank you, please keep it.” Don’t just assume all is for...
