Bakus — Restaurant in Paris

Dear Sirs, I am not someone who often writes reviews, and when I do, it is because I really liked something. I did not want to write anything about my visit to your restaurant, but since you insist in your mails you sent, here is what I have to say. On Wednesday, May 21st, I made a reservation for dinner for 16 people in the Master room, which on your website says has a capacity of 18 people. I was terribly disappointed when I realized that the space was actually enough for maybe 10-12 people. The fact that all my guests I invited to dinner, respected interventional cardiologists with whom I work for years, literally sat on each other's laps, does not work in my favor as a host or as a business associate. No one had any complaints about the quality of the food or the staff, who were very friendly, but a bitter taste remains. Unfortunately, I have no desire to ever visit your restaurant again, nor to recommend it to anyone. I have been coming to Paris for 15 years in a row and have organized at least 50 such dinners for my business associates and I have never written a review like this. Bad food, bad music, bad atmosphere, unfriendly (one could say even angry) waitress, good wine. This place was such a disappointment. It has two areas; a bar and a small restaurant side with a few tables. They play loud RnB music which is almost equally loud on the side of the restaurant. I’m not sure whether that’s a style preference or just inappropriate music selection for people having dinner. The food was just bad. We ordered multiple main course which were of really bad quality. I personally had the salmon which was supposed to come “slightly” raw and was overcooked as a stone (see photo). My partner had the ceviche (ceviche as a main course?). It was for sure the worst ever had. The waitress was acting as if we shouldn’t be ordering. The only positive thing was the wines we tried were good. I booked this place for an event with my team, I called up the so called Jessica on the day to make sure everything is setup properly, and asked her to send me pictures, she reassured me that everything is in order and she is going to send me the pics, and of course, she didn't, i found out after that she she lied because once we got there they make us sit in the wrong space, with no setup and make us move 2 times, what an embarrassment, when I asked her why is that, she became very rude and walked away, to be honest I was shocked, which kind of human being is that, and importantly which kind of service is that, we are paying to get an outstanding service and in return this is the way we were treated, I will make sure nobody from my firm put his foot there, utterly disgusting behaviour.
