What a charming Parisian breakfast stop! Loved the ambience of this cafe & the server was amazing! We got fresh squeezed orange juice (which was SO delicious) & fresh croissants. Bar typiquement parisien avec une belle terrasse donnant sur la jolie place des Petits Pères, à deux pas de la Place des Victoires. Une douce ambiance de village en plein Paris, sans aucun bruit de voitures, le rêve .... Alex, le Patron accueille les clients d'une façon décontractée et chaleureuse. Les serveurs sont aussi souriants et efficaces.A l'intérieur, la salle est certes petite, mais un beau comptoir en zinc, et des banquettes en velours rouge confèrent une atmosphère chaleureuse et intime à cet endroit. Une clientèle bobo, cool, de tous âges, sans prétention. Les planches de charcuteries et de fromages sont délicieuses, ainsi que les vins proposés. Bref,un endroit très agréable pour se poser ..

What a surprising gem! I believe they have new ownership or management as the bartender said they just opened a week ago. A group of us came for a late meal (around 22hr) and they were very accommodating. I didn’t have high hopes for the food, but the pasta of the day was phenomenal and my friends scarfed down their burgers.

A major highlight was that the bar turned into an impromptu dance party around 2230. I don’t know how often that happens, but it was certainly one of the most memorable nights in Paris.

(A lowlight was the restroom which my friend described as straight from the movie Trainspotting - avoid...

I am local and have my choice of cafes. Bar du Moulin is my morning “go to.” The staff - Pascal, Anna, David and Jean - are welcoming and I look forward to their greeting each day. The coffee is consistent and well made. If you’re looking for a Starbucks this isn’t your place. If you want authentic Paris, then make a stop. This is where neighborhood locals gather to enjoy life. RIDICULOUS There is the bakery and the restaurant. Before you could buy food at the bakery and eat seated at the tables inside the beautiful bakery. Now ONLY THE CLIENTS FROM THE NEXT DOOR RESTAURANT CAN USE THE TABLES INSIDE THE BAKERY. So you have to order the sweets from the restaurant, that come from the bakery, to be able to have a seat. BUT YOU WILL BE CHARGED MUCH MORE, AT RESTAURANT PRICE. Everything taken from the bakery is to take away now. RIDICULOUS! Not...
