My son took me here for lunch on my visit. I had two entrées for a light meal - artichokes and boiled eggs with a mustard mayonnaise. Both were wonderful, but the artichoke was absolutely superb. I think artichokes are hard to prepare properly - at least I've never experienced them well prepared before. They were tender and flavourful. The sauce was superb, but perhaps the best part was the slices of feta that adorned the the dish. I HAVE NEVER HAD SUCH GOOD FETA! In fact, I'm not a fan of feta - the most ubiquitous feta in North America is dry stuff with more salt than the Dead Sea. I'm not anti-salt, but feta on the left side of the Atlantic should be labelled "high BP/heart attack fuse."

This, feta ... THIS feta, was firm yet creamy with a mouth texture that was perfect. Was there salt? Yes, but it was so well integrated that I didn't notice it at all.

This sounds like a feta review, but the cheese so perfectly set off the dish that I just had to go on about it. I can't even remember what...

MERVEILLEUSE ADRESSE !

This was once our favorite cafe, and although it had gone downhill over the last few years, today's meal convinced me never to return. The fish was tasteless (but at least was not overcooked) and the 'greek salad' was a joke: watermelon, some feta, 2 flavorless olives and a few cucumbers and no dressing. It is so perfectly located that it is a shame they have not kept up the quality. Unfortunately their once excellent saucisse was not on the menu so I cannot comment on its quality. It may still be good. They have some decent wines. (Ergo 2 stars instead of one.). If I want the ambiance I will sit in the...

😂 we finally got our stereotypical French rude waiter, we laughed about it. He doesn’t speak English he says, but could speak it rudely to say NO FOOOOOD even though one of he’s English words sounded like cake when he was telling us what he had available. We still ordered coffee. No menus in English maybe they don’t like us tourists there. Oh well we are here and still sitting. I still gave it 5 stars because we got the authentic French experience from the waiter which we only read about in books.

Lovely cafe, small but cozy, such a welcoming vibe. The receptionist lady was polite and kind. Just one little flaw though — a couple that entered the café after me got to order and was served before me. It seemed like they were regulars, but even if that was not the case, they had a long and nice conversation with the receptionist lady. It was not a big deal for me since I was not in a hurry, but it was a serious one for a café.

This place is incredible. The food and wine were delicious. Our waiter Maxime was super fun, patient and excellent at making suggestions for wine. He translated the whole menu for us. We had the beef dish and the white fish, both were beyond amazing and cooked to perfection. We highly recommend this place, it's off the beaten track, quiet and away from all the tourists.
