OMG - BEST food in maybe forever! Found this little gem on GoogleMap. DOES NOT disappoint on any level. This restaurant is a must for any Paris trip. Maybe the best compliment is - “Are you open tomorrow?” Fabulous table, chair is comfortable (very important) with just the right table and room temperature. Started with fois gras and toast with fig jam and pears (mind blown) and the the sea bass that was literally heaven on the plate with a pilaff that was equally as delicious. My son had lamb which was moist and tender but with a sear that would make any chef jealous! Accompanied by herbed potatoes - jaw dropping. Soooo good. Last but not least, the flaming crème brûlée was devoured in possibly under 3 minutes. The perfect end to a graduation dinner that will be celebrated in our hears and minds for years to come. Thank you Cafe Sud for making our Parisian experience a standout! We may even be back tomorrow!! Put this restaurant on your must dine list. You will be happy you did. Your Canadian friends!

First night in Paris and this is where we landed. It was a VERY romantic spot with a highly engaged staff. It must be a tourist spot because everyone around us was speaking English and the staff were way better than my French. The food was good and the setting was romantic. Can't go wrong in this "down the fairway" French restaurant. I went with the "Formula Ete - Plat et Dessert". Basically a dinner special of an entree and dessert. For the entree I went with the Saint Jacques Au Safran. The leeks were brilliant but the scallops just weren't that well prepared. Scallops have a VERY tight tolerance of cooking and the poor lad held them in the heat too long. Tasty, but not what I had hoped. For dessert, I went with the "Tarte Fine Aux Pommes". It was a very nice apple tart with an even better dollop of praline ice cream. We also had a good bottle of Sancerre which elevated the entire game.

Absolutely exquisite dining experience! The filet was nothing short of phenomenal, cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The ambiance was equally impressive, with the soothing melodies from the piano creating a delightful backdrop. The Rosé wine was impeccable, complementing our meal perfectly. Venturing into new culinary territory, I tried escargot for the first time, and the pesto sauce was a delightful revelation. If you have the opportunity to try the desserts, the cheesecake with its strawberry purée sauce was exceptionally creamy and delicious. Highly recommended!

Horrible foos and service. I entered the restaurant on the 02.01.2022 at 8:00 and there was only one waiter for the whole restaurant. We ordered foie gras and escargot for appetizer. The escargot came with very small size and there is some fishy smell. We waited for another 45 mins for the main dishes to come. The prawn with black rice didn’t taste good. The rice is very wet and the taste was quite strange. After the dinner, we called for a bill. The credit card got denied twice. The waiter just said the international credit card is not working.

At that point in time, i thought it was my credit card problem. Therefore i went out to find nearby atm machine. However none of them were available. When i come back to the restaurant. The waiter said he will restart the machine. After that the transaction went through properly. After all this hustle, the waiter didn’t say sorry to what happened. As a foreigner who wanted to enjoyed the last night in paris with good dinner. I have to say, i’m very disappointed. I will definitely will...

Only go here if you like bland food in and ambiance of utterly boring and failed chique, with a waiter that forgets your orders, and starts stacking tables while you're still eating. Oh, and you must be a fan of rucola, it's on every dish! In short, food is average, but the service and ambiance is really the worst I ever got in Paris, and that says a lot. The food is pretty standard, all a bit bland and lacks fantasy. We had coquille starter, which was nice but unsurprising, steak which was cooked to order, yet with a sauce that almost tasted like coming from a jar, and potatoes that were partly burned. Oh and with rucola. Then the waiter forgot about the desserts we ordered, so that we sat there waiting for half an hour, until I asked about them. Then we got them, but then they started cleaning the restaurant and moving tables inside while we were still eating. Upon my remark that this made a lot of noise the waiter came up with some lame...
