This is truly one of the worst experiences in Paris. I was obviously expecting for it to be a tourist trap and extreme prices since its literally round the corner from the Eiffel tower. However, what I was not prepared for is the total lack of respect for people shown by the staff. The waiting staff was an absolute disgrace. I don't think they were aware we were fluent in French due to them assuming we are tourists and spoke to us in english. They made fun of absolutely everyone, they were extremely rude and made rude comments to all the passers by (we were sitting near the door - outside) and patrons. One table spent a lot of money on the meal and after they left, even while walking through the door one of the waiters told them to *** off under their breathe. There was a person that just went out after having coffee they commented on her behind and her chest. This went on and on without a break for over an hour. There was no passerby or no order, or no patron that they ddin't comment on or literally made fun of. For me it was the last straw when thy were making fun of an old man on a wheel chait. One of the incidents that stood out was - One passerby asked them to use the toilet which they didn't accept and that is fine with me I have no issue, they "helped" her by sending her around the corner but one of them just said, "Good luck finding it cause it doesn't exist and you're going to piss your pants" - in french. DISGRACE !!!

28/12/2024 Is a very cold day, I am not that hungry, I just want to have something hot and stay in a warm place, then take a visit to this place. Food is okay, price is affordable but totally expensive than having in other places, but people shouldn’t expect more as it is so close to the tower. Snails are pretty good, really recommend, and the beef is chewed, although I am not that into the taste, but I think they really well done. However, I don’t like the guy who force me to do tips, and I can see in the check it says “tax and service fee included…” I said no, and he gave me an unbelievable look….and then asked me 4 times for tips…and I said no, the reasons are: my starter came behind my main course, and I ask for my drink, when I almost finish my snails, I finally get a coke. Also, I read one of the comments here talked about only understand for simple English words, and I agree with that… have to pointed out for what I want on menu, otherwise he cannot understand me. As I said in advance, came from London, where people pay for service fee around 12.5%, not paying just for don’t like to be forced, is not even optional…not for money saving. By the way, if you just wanna to get a drink something, only outside available, you have to eat something to sit in, which is a not very welcome policy.

If you're in Paris and looking for an unforgettable dining experience near the Pullman Tour Eiffel, look no further than Restaurant Chez Ribe. This charming spot is just a short walk from the iconic landmark, making it the perfect place to enjoy an incredible meal before or after taking in the sights. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warmth and hospitality. The staff was not only attentive but genuinely friendly, making us feel right at home. The service was impeccable—fast, efficient, and always with a smile. Now, let's talk about the food—absolutely phenomenal! Every dish was perfectly prepared, bursting with flavor, and beautifully presented. Whether you're indulging in classic French cuisine or something more modern, you can taste the quality and passion in every bite. The portions were generous, and the ingredients were fresh and top-notch. The inviting atmosphere, combined with the fantastic food and service, makes Restaurant Chez Ribe a must-visit. Whether you're a local or just visiting, it's well worth stopping by for a meal that will leave you planning your next visit before you even leave. Highly recommended!

Terrible food for the price. I had better food at the same price point.

I asked for my dessert (which was terrible too) to be served after my main but they insisted on serving it together... So I had to eat my dessert before my main as the ice cream was starting to melt.

I asked for water as I was quite dehydrated and I got a surprise when I had to pay €6.40 for probably 400-500 ml of still water... Most expensive water I have ever drunk. All the other restaurants I've eaten in Paris gave me the option of bottled still water or just off the tap.

Finally, when I was paying for the bill... Waiter asked if I wanted to tip 20% since the bill doesn't include tips (which is a lie since the bill automatically includes a 10% service tax) I refused saying food was bad, so was the service. He got angry and started arguing with me. He returned me a change of €16, which is short of €2 from the €18 I was to receive. I asked for the €2 and he took back the €5 bill and €1 coin he had given me orignally and gave me 7 €1 coins. I said it's still short of one and he gave me one more €1 coin and he quickly took back the €10 note that was on the table. I retorted "hey that's mine!" And he gave it back to me. Most terrible payment experience ever in my life. Repeatedly trying to cheat on change...

I had a good Saturday touring Paris, and it was my last night before going back home. Most unhappy to have the whole experience concluded by a terrible...

The bathrooms were not that clean(or clean at all) and I felt terrible for the people who have to pay 3 Euro’s, like what the heck, for a dirty restroom. I am mainly just focusing on this because this is just scamming all of the people by making us pay 3 Euro’s to use a bathroom that is not even that nice. Like, if it went towards the upkeep of the restrooms, that, I would not be happy, but, Still, I would understand, but these bathrooms were kinda (Really) dirty an we didn’t even get real soap. Bro, WE HAD TO CLEAN OUR HANDS WITH DISH SOAP!!! Because it was included I was fine but if I was paying 3 Euro’s, I would feel ripped off. I feel that these prices that others who need the restrooms have to pay is just, there are no other words to describe it, RIDICULOUS. I would feel so annoyed with this if I had to pay 3 Euro’s, I would feel ripped off and like I was scammed. Like you need to decrease these ridiculous prices or get your act together about these bathrooms. Just looking at them really ruined the whole experience. This really just irritates me to give a 1-star because we should not be supporting places that scam people. I just feel like this is a place we should not support if some poor people have to pay 3 Euro’s to enter an unsanitary restroom. Overall, I have one sentence to say. “GET YOUR DANG ACT TOGETHER AND FIX THIS”....
