Sensationel…….. Sacré-Cœur Basilica is located at the summit of the butte of Montmartre. From its dome two hundred meters above the Seine, the basilica overlooks the entire city of Paris and its suburbs. It is the second most popular tourist destination in the capital after the Eiffel Tower.

The basilica was first proposed by Felix Fournier, the Bishop of Nantes, in 1870 after the defeat of France and the capture of Napoleon III at the Battle of Sedan in the Franco-Prussian War. Owned by a sweet and caring couple, this coffee place offers a particularly cozy and high-end experience. They weight the coffee beans carefully, airing the powder, foaming the milk into perfection. One must note that the plant-based milk has a dominant taste that might not be appealing to everyone, however we liked it. The espresso is strong and interesting as well. Pastries are fresh and well-made, which is another plus considering that their specialty is coffee and not cakes. Ambiance is perfect; cozy, inviting, soft lighting and very calming. The owner walk around between the tables and fill up your water glass. Prices are very reasonable for Paris, and they do not charge extra for plant-based milk - highly appreciated...

Don't come to this coffee shop. It's my favorite cafe in Paris and I don't want a bunch of crowds there haha. Ella and Flo are very nice. They put a lot of effort into making every drink delicious. I would recommend any of their drinks due to this reason. They only have one vegan milk option and that is sproud, a plant milk made from peas. They usually always stock dak and the pickey chemist and sometimes has other coffees. This is definitely a specialty coffee shop, so if you are a coffee nerd, you'll like this place.
