I am reluctant to leave low star reviews, but feel obliged. If you’ve been to French brasseries, leave your expectations at the door.
They advertise a great happy hour (€7 - honestly a steal, and if u read this do go and take advantage). But, it’s only for asterisked cocktails, which excludes spritzes. This of course is unlike literally every other brasserie in Paris.
The dude who served us had the attitude that gives all French people their undeserved bad reputation. He has the aura of the man who cooked up this scheme - when he told us the price and we questioned, it was obvious this is a common occurrence.

This restaurant and café in my favourite area of Montmatré immediately caught my eye. The next thing that after I had sat down to eat, was whether this breakfast met my expectations. It did that 100%, so now I have eaten Petite déjeuner at the same place 4 days in a row. The waiters knows me when I arrive, and they are so nice and welcoming that I almost feel at home. The restaurant is mainly visited by French people in the morning, and the sounds of French dialogues and discussions are a wonderful spice to the breakfast. Visit the place and you will experience France with the wonderful...
