Venchi — Restaurant in Paris

Not only does Venchi have a delightful selection of chocolates in a bunch of flavors in lovely wrappings that make you feel “like a kid in a candy shop” but they also have gelato that is heads above the other gelato shops in the area. We came to France from America on vacation and had gelato LITERALLY every night, in multiple cities over 20 days and this was one of 2 places that really stood out. The gelato consistency is more dense and the flavor seemed more concentrated and natural. Also we were served by a very kind and funny man named Luciano, who exuded a friendliness and approachability you don’t always find in France. It was the absolute last night in France and we walked quite a ways to try this gelato, bypassing many shops, waited in line, and we hadn’t walked 20m away from the store when my 10 year old son’s gelato fell off his cone, obviously a distressing moment for many children for as long as children have been eating ice cream on cones. We rushed back and Luciano was completely understanding and made a new cone for my son and saved the day, despite facing a relatively long line of customers. 5 very well...

Recently visited Venchi in Paris and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of their ice cream. I chose pistachio and salted caramel, and both flavors were impressive - the pistachio was genuinely nutty, and the salted caramel had just the right touch of saltiness to complement the sweetness. The shop itself is on the smaller side, but what it lacks in size, it makes up for in flavor variety. The staff were friendly and seemed to take pride in their offerings. Where ur buds will embark on a tasteful journey, this place is exceptional. Great tasty chocolate of multiple flavors, rich aroma, creative designs and detailed pieces. The ice cream is very tasty, i had the mango, dark chocolate and straciatella. All mouthwatering rich flavors.
