Excellent pizza. I recommend Pizza San Pietro. The desserts were great too.

4 stars because the server did not explain properly how the pizza+dessert+drink combo worked and we paid more than we thought we would pay. You can argue that it’s out fault for not speaking French, but if you can’t speak a word of English, and the guy spoke zero English, you should at least make sure you have a bilingual menu or a separate menu in English. After all, August is when Paris gets flooded with tourists most of whom do not speak French but know some English.

Also, one guy serving the entire room IMHO is not enough. This place has a lot of tables and one person should not be responsible for serving food, taking orders, making sure empty plates are promptly removed from the table, bringing the bills, and greeting people. There should be at least 2 people working in the front of the house.

Other than that, we had 2 pizzas, a glass of wine, a glass of beer and 2...

Predatory practices toward TOURISTS

We were staying close to this place and were exhausted and hungry. The server attempted to charge an extra £20 on top of the price of the bill, stating it was for “taxes and fees”! After I explained that the menu had no disclosures about this and that no other restaurants had tried to do this, I let him know we wouldn’t be paying ANYTHING more than the price of the bill. This place seemed to only exist to be predatory to tourists, and the food was disgusting.

They up-charged us for a salad after making it seem like it came with the over-priced meal AND up-charged for water. The food came out barely warm, and it was clear that my husband’s lasagna, which looked more like soup, had been microwaved. Overall, just an...

This place is terrible. My lasagna was cheese water with chunks of cold meat interspersed. The table next to ours was a group of Italian tourists who had no idea what to make of the slop they were served. It was the end of a long day, I didn’t complain at the time. But when the bill came out and the waiter wanted to add an additional €20 for no sufficient reason, my wife and I got loud. They were attempting to scam money on top of terrible food. Luckily, we stood our ground, and paid just the bill and nothing extra....
