【Quick Summary】A delightful taste of classic Parisian bistro fare! Highly recommended for enjoying an authentic lunch in the quieter area surrounding the hotel.
【Purpose of Visit】Visited for a casual lunch to enjoy authentic, classic French dishes, conveniently located near my hotel.
✅ Experience (Food & Dishes) I sampled several traditional bistro items, and everything exceeded my expectations in terms of taste.
🐌 Escargots: The flavor of escargots is often defined by its parsley butter sauce, and here it was a relatively robust preparation, with just the right amount of saltiness and a fragrant garlic aroma that was incredibly appetizing. The texture was perfect, making it a highly satisfying dish. 🥩 Beef Tartare: The tartare offered a rich, fresh beef flavor. Served with its accompanying sauce, it was a simple yet high-quality dish. 🧅 Onion Gratin Soup: Abundant cheese, wonderfully gooey! This rich and comforting soup was absolutely perfect. 🍟 French Fries: Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. They were an excellent accompaniment to the tartare and other dishes.
✅ Environment (Atmosphere & Facilities) The restaurant had a lively and bustling atmosphere, typical of a brasserie. However, since it is located in the relatively quiet area where the hotel is situated, it offered a pleasant and calm environment to start the meal. It was crowded with a mix of tourists and locals. It's incredibly convenient to have such a quality restaurant within easy reach of the hotel.
✅ Value and Final Thoughts The pricing is typical for a Parisian brasserie, but considering the high quality of the food and its excellent location, I found the value for money to be extremely high. I would highly recommend it for those who want reliably delicious classic Parisian dishes, especially for lunch in this quiet neighborhood. I would definitely make it a point to visit Monsieur Maillot again on my next...
Read moreI don’t usually write reviews, but this experience was so bad I feel obligated to warn others. From the moment we walked in, it was clear customer service was not a priority. We weren’t greeted at all—just stared at by a hostess who acted like we were bothering her by showing up.
After being seated, we waited over 20 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. No water, no menus, nothing. When we finally flagged someone down, the server was rude and dismissive, like we were inconveniencing them just by asking questions about the menu.
It didn’t get better. Our order was wrong, and when we pointed it out, they rolled their eyes and acted like it was our fault. No apology, no effort to fix it. Just attitude. The manager wasn’t any better—condescending and completely uninterested in resolving anything.
Food was average at best, and definitely not worth the price or the aggravation. Save your time, money, and sanity—go literally...

This was one of the most unprofessional dining experiences I’ve ever had. While seated inside, I saw mice running around the dining room. When I told the staff I no longer wanted my meal, I was told I “couldn’t do that” and was dismissed with the excuse that “this is Paris, get over it.”
The manager, Maxium, was extremely rude and unprofessional when I explained the situation. Instead of showing concern, he had a very nasty attitude. The server, Alsen, even tried to justify it by saying, “the kitchen is upstairs, so it’s okay.” Absolutely not. That is never acceptable.
To make matters worse, they tried to force me to pay for a meal I never even received, all I wanted to do was pay for what I had and leave.
I would never recommend this place to anyone. Unsanitary conditions, terrible management, and zero respect for customers....
