Omusubi Gonbei — Restaurant in Paris

This Omusubi Gonbei Paris Palais-Royal is the worst “Japanese rice ball” shop I’ve ever visited in Paris! Their onigiri are dry and tasteless, and their customer service is absolutely horrible. This place is a joke!

The worst service ever! We were two families ordering separately and politely asked them to pack our orders separately. The staff refused, saying "We need to save boxes". Excuse me?? How is that our problem? We are paying customers, and it’s our right to receive proper packaging!

When we insisted, another staff member finally gave us small paper bags, but guess what? They didn't even pack the food for us! When we asked them to, they lied and said, “We don’t have bags.” Seriously, this place has the worst customer service ever.

Their onigiri are disgusting! ✔ There was barely any filling. ✔ The seaweed was soft and soggy, not crispy at all.

Whoever owns this place clearly has no idea what real onigiri tastes like. They’re just using cheap ingredients and fooling tourists.

Don’t waste your time and money here! Terrible service, disgusting food, and a stingy restaurant that won’t even give customers proper packaging. There are plenty of better Japanese restaurants in Paris!

👎👎 0 stars! Avoid this place at all costs! この Omusubi Gonbei Paris Palais-Royal は、私がパリで食べた最悪の「おにぎり」店です。全然日本の味ではないし、おにぎりはパサパサでまずい。しかも店員の態度が最悪。本当に腹が立ちました！

ひどすぎるサービス！ 家族２組で注文したので、別々に袋に入れてくださいとお願いしたのに、店員は「箱を節約するためにできません」と拒否。は？店のコスト削減が客の責任ですか？ ふざけるな！私たちは普通にお金を払ってるんだから、当然提供されるべきでしょう？

それでもお願いしたら、別の店員が小さな紙袋を渡してきた。でも、袋にちゃんと入れてくれない！ さらに「袋はありません」と嘘をつく始末。ここは本当に客商売をする店なのか？サービス最低レベルです。

おにぎりは史上最悪！ ✔ 具材がほとんど入っていない ✔ 海苔がしんなりしていて、美味しくない

こんなひどいクオリティで売るとか、オーナーは日本のおにぎりを食べたことがあるのか？ 安い材料で適当に作ってるだけ、完全に観光客を騙す店です！

こんな店に行く必要なし！ サービスがひどい、おにぎりもまずい、こんなケチな店はパリにいりません！本当に時間とお金の無駄。おにぎりを食べたいなら、別の店を探してください！

這間 Omusubi Gonbei Paris Palais-Royal 是我在巴黎吃過最爛的「日本飯糰」店！飯糰又乾又難吃，服務態度更是爛到極點，完全不值得花錢！

服務爛到炸！ 我們是 兩個家庭分開訂購，請店員分開裝飯糰，結果店員居然說 「要省盒子，不能分開」？？他們店家要省盒子，關我們什麼事？ 我們是付錢的客人，這是基本的服務吧？

更扯的是，另一個店員丟給我們幾個小紙袋，但不幫忙裝好，還謊稱「沒有袋子」。這間店真的爛到極點，服務態度讓人無語！

飯糰難吃到懷疑人生！ ✔ 餡料少到幾乎沒有 ✔ 海苔軟爛沒口感

這種品質居然還敢賣？根本是用最便宜的材料隨便做一做，專門騙觀光客的店！

千萬別來這間店！ 這種服務、這種品質，完全不值一毛錢！巴黎有很多更好的日本料理店，千萬不要被這家騙了！

Omusubi Gonbei Paris Palais-Royal est le pire "restaurant japonais" que j'ai essayé à Paris. Les onigiris sont secs et immangeables, et le service est horrible !

Service catastrophique ! Nous étions deux familles et avons demandé à séparer nos commandes. Le personnel a refusé en disant "On doit économiser les boîtes". QUOI ?? En quoi est-ce notre problème ? Nous avons payé comme tout le monde, on a le droit à un service correct !

Finalement, un autre employé nous a donné des petits sachets, mais il ne nous a même pas aidé à emballer la nourriture ! Pire encore, il a menti en disant "On n’a pas de sacs". Un service honteux !

Les onigiris sont infects ! ✔ Presque pas de garniture ✔ Algue molle et pas croustillante

Ils utilisent des ingrédients de mauvaise qualité et arnaquent les touristes.

À fuir absolument ! Mauvais service, nourriture horrible et une attitude radine avec les clients. Ne perdez pas votre temps ici, il y a de bien meilleurs restaurants japonais à Paris !

Discovered this place through a video on instagram. A small shop in a corner of the street, I came around just in time when the line was about to get long just outside of the door. They have great selections of flavors and toppings, and some even come with brown rice instead of white sushi rice, or vegan options. My favorite has got to be between kombu and tuna mayo. They have interesting flavors like pickled plum and "wagyu" beef. Got a box of 6 that I took my time eating during a long lunch break. There's no place to sit since it's a shop and not a restaurant, but you have great parks to sit at nearby to enjoy your food. Well-packed and they also offer tissues and chopsticks if needed. Drinks available, too. You can get a menu with 2 riceballs, a small bag of edamame in the shell, and something else that I forgot. You fall in line, make your order, then wait to get to the cashier so you can pick it up and pay. They take card and cash. Paid 19 something for 6 pieces and a bottle of water. Very filling...

Loved these riceballs!! I would recommend the Poulet Piquant and the Poulet Mayo we also had the Boeuf Wagyu and the Tuna Mayo...the Boeuf Wagyu tasted dry so i wouldn't recommend that one the Poulet Piquant gives you a Kick so it really is nice to eat! especially if you like spicy food this one hits the spot. there is usually a line in front of the store but it goes pretty fast because staff just picks and package it for you in a box.

it's an In-and-Out type of store. you choose your Riceballs (most of the people choose 4 in a box) and then you pay and exit the store (there are some standing tables but no one really uses it). it's more of a to-go...
