Pierre Hermé — Restaurant in Paris

You can’t go wrong with Pierre Hermé for macarons. I went to this shop a few times as I lived nearby. The macarons and patisseries are delicious. I also tried the Ispahan tea, it was quite a good surprise. However the chocolates have nothing special, you can find much better (even for cheaper). They did savoury macarons for a Christmas, I wish they would do it all year round. They were so good and it’s refreshing to have a sweet and savoury mix. I visited again in holidays in January 2023, and the macarons were a little bit dry. Not sure if they are very fresh. (However it was barely noticeable here, it had a low impact on taste. Not like the dryness you can sometimes experience...

Pierre Hermé is a really known shop that sell wonderful chocolates and pastries but what was remarkable from this dpecifical shop was the incredible service that the madame did. She was very attentive and super nice and agradable. We entered the shop with the only purpose of looking around but she made us feel extremely welcome making us taste their really good chocolates for free. When we paid our little macaroon and opened the box to eat it she made us a surprise that literally made our day and shared with us some more chocolates. I just want to say thank you for this incredible service and that I will be buying more in Pierre Hermé...

I bought yesterday 4 macarons and one dessert, the 2 of the 4 macarons had nice flavors . The rest were unflavored and I put them straight to the bin. about the dessert. I chose an unusual one , just to try something different. Apples , rose mascarpone that supposed to be the flavor . I taste fresh apples, apple compote with rose essence and a fatty flavor . It was not a nice taste on my mouth anyway . I ate one bite and after 5’ I had stomach ache....
