I went here with the plushie with ginger hair I adopted a month ago from Avalon Springs. He ordered a hotdog, while I ordered three tacos and a crepe, and we both had tall orange mochaccinos.
The food was good, but the place is absolute chaos.
There were winged marionettes all over the place, but that wasn't the problem. The issue is how they were being treated.
First off, I noticed that one of them was stuck in the flowers above a chair. Turns out she had tried to practice flying, and wasn't very experienced, so she fell in the flowers. I tried to get her out, but the manager screamed, "Don't help her!" I backed off, but the plushie with ginger hair didn't, and helped her anyway.
Another winged marionette messed up and accidentally mixed up two people's orders. She claims it was because she is very sleep deprived and wants to rest, but can't, even when not working.
There was also a third marionette, and she seemed to be standing in some sort of puddle and crying, and it appeared to have come out of her.
All three of the winged marionettes got sent to time out and yelled at, and two of them ended up crying.
There was also a fourth winged marionette, which was an employee of the month. She was screaming at a baby for cutting the telephone wire with scissors. The baby somehow didn't cry, but looked very scared when screamed at. One of the other winged marionettes revealed that this one has been employee of the month for 3 months only for snitching on the other marionettes and screaming at babies, proving she is extremely spoiled.
The plushie with ginger hair tipped €100 to each winged marionette working there, except the spoiled one that screamed at a baby. We debated over which of the winged marionettes we should adopt from here, and eventually decided to take the one who messed up an order. As we were leaving with her, the manager of the place said, "Take her and get out!"
Due to her sleep issues, and the fact she wasn't treated well here, the winged marionette I adopted will be starting therapy next week.
Please treat your...
Read moreI live close by this restaurant and was actually excited to try it once it opened. It was very pink and extremely girly so as a “girl mom” I figured it was a place that I could visit often and create amazing memories…oh how very wrong I was. When I first got to the door, I was asked if I had a reservation; I thought it was an odd question given it was a Thursday afternoon but I responded by telling them “no,” and was informed I could dine outside. This was ok with me as the weather was nice and we don’t get many days with nice weather in Paris. As I sat down, I noticed the inside dining area was occupied only partially and many of the occupants were taking photos and perhaps only ordered one drink and left after 15-20 minutes. I ordered a few cocktails and a main but waited 20 minutes for my second drink as it seemed the social media influencers inside were priority. Again, I understand, social media is a big part of the hospitality industry, but that does not mean that paying customers should be ignored for more likes or followers. As I sat finishing my meal, the waitress comes to the table and tells me and my friend, “I’m sorry girls but we are closed!” I was shocked! At least allow me to finish my drink that took you forever to bring. If you are searching for a good brunch with friendly staff, a good atmosphere and great food, there are plenty of other options in Paris. If you wish to take a photo that’s been posted already on social media thousands of times, this is the place for you…but don’t forget to make a...
Read moreOverrated, really rude service by the woman running the place, the male waiter was nice and he was a pleasant person to deal with.
Upon arrival we were told to wait at the door by her waving her hand at us, and there were plenty of free tables, she then said do you have a reservation, which we answered no, so got ushered to a table, got offered no menu's and after 15 minutes she came back to our table to take our order, we were only told there was the brunch menu and we were after more substantial food, so my daughter ordered taco's and the other 3 of us ordered drinks, she then left the table mid order not sure what for but then came back and went back through the orders, and then snatched 3 sets of cutlery and napkins which we had touched, so the drinks were fine and then my daughters tacos came out only find a long black hair in one of them, so we called her over and she took the hair and threw it on the floor and said nothing took the food, and then another 15 mins later the taco's got delivered, and nothing was said we were charged the full amount no apology it was a terrible experience and would not ever go back her attitude is disgusting to be in customer service as there was none what so ever. Don't be fooled by the instagram followers...
