We knew it was going to be expensive because of the Location location But we did expect excellent food or at the very least good food. My girlfriend has a problem eating out because there little that gluten-free so she ordered the expensive steak .It was lousy she couldn't even cut it without great difficulty with their steak knives. She is well traveled and this was the worst steak in all her travels. The mashed potatoes creamy but not much flavor. The waiter tried to talk us out of talking to the manager that he would be in trouble. I do not understand why he would be in trouble for something that the kitchen is in charge of. Then the manager that waiter brought over saying he had to talk to the manager and the best he could do was 10% off the bill. Do you mean they didn't bring us the manager. They argued with us saying how difficult it is to cook a medium rare steak. Well let me explain something to you the first thing you do is buy a good quality steak.LOL In the beginning of the service I felt like he was trying to guilt trip into giving a tip before we even got any service. The waiter commented that French customers are complicated in comparing with the Americans. I'm sure they are. They expect good service good food and don't tip . I always give a little extra for excellent service I didn't appreciate the hint. Save your money don't go here. It is a tourist trap in...
Read moreMeh... It's not bad, but it's nothing to write home about either. We stopped by for dinner on the way to the Arc for sunset. It was super windy so we at inside. Our waiter was ok... As my wife said "not impressed". He didn't know all the dishes and my wife is vegan so she was trying to inquire about what would work for her. She ended up with the falafel which tasted fine. I had the ribeye. It was cooked well and well seasoned. Again, not bad but not amazing either.
The waiter kept taking our plates away before we were done or asking if we were done. We had some time to kill so we took our time. The server seemed to want to turn the table quickly. Tourist area... So I get it.
The worst part was the guests outside were smoking cigars the entire time. A table of 5, 4 of them smoking, the one who wasn't was a 8 or 9 year old kid who at one point looked at his neighbor smoking with a disgusted look on his face trying to fan the smoke away from him.... Wish I got the picture... It would have been priceless. While they have every right to smoke all they want and torture their kid... The windows between us and them did little to prevent the smoke from bothering us. It was gross smelling cigars while trying to eat. This doesnt totally fall on the restaurant but they could maybe seal the windows better.
Also expensive for what is was. Again the loction is a big part of that.

Read moreI'm deeply shaken by this experience and want to keep it concise. I made reservations with great enthusiasm, drawn to the intriguing concept and appealing menu. Upon arrival, we spotted an empty table by the Arc and requested to sit there. After a delayed greeting, we informed the waiter about our preference for vegetarian options due to my mom's dietary restrictions. Despite this, he persistently pushed the pricey pork ribs, which we politely declined. We all ordered vegetarian meals, but then the waiter delivered a shocking comment: "I feel like you aren't taking this meal seriously. Would you mind moving so that someone who will can have this amazing view? We can seat you on the other side." I was taken aback, struggling to respond as tears welled up. I managed to convey that we would leave. His casual response was a shrug and a simple "okay." Other waitstaff appeared remorseful, offering apologies. This incident nearly marred my Paris trip, leaving me profoundly affected. Our bill exceeded €160 for four, which adds to my confusion. Regrettably, I cannot recommend this place due to the waiter's disrespectful behavior, which cast a shadow over what should have been a...
