BEST JAPANESE RESTAURANT IN PARIS!

Backstory: This place was my favorite restaurant since I first ate here back in 2018. I ate here for almost every week until Covid hit. I got really devastated when I came in 2021 and learned that they changed it to a ramen place. I literally cried and never came back…

Very happy to learn that the sushi chef came back last Aug and I had to come and see if everything was as before…

Ambiance is like before. Cozy and simple.

Service is very good. The chefs are amazing and very nice and friendly!! The waiter was very nice and was very accommodating and made sure all our requests where met.

Food was great as always. Just like before. Everything was fresh and big cuts. The plates are very generous. The sashimi (tuna, salmon and scallops) literally melts in your mouth. The best fatty tuna (thon gras/toro). The tempura wasn’t like as before, they were still good but they were better before.

Prices were higher than before but still cheaper than other places with the same quality of food. The price is very reasonable for the quality and quantity of the food.

Bonus: they take reservations.

I highly highly highly suggest this place. This is the best sushi...

This was my third time visiting restaurant Taki.

My first visit was outstanding and matched all the reviews for this place. My second visit about a year later I was totally ignored and never seated it so I just left.

This third time the restaurant was half full and I was seated immediately and ordered katsudon. After being in Tokyo the previous week and trying to compare the katsudon I ordered with what I had in Japan the comparison was miles apart.

The dish was terrible.

Their katsudon was void of flavor and you could not taste either the dashi or soy. It was basically a pork cutlet and some egg on top of tasteless rice I would never order this again or recommend anyone else ordering it.

On checkout I explained the taste was substandard, I was not expecting a free meal but at least some relief from what tasted terrible but I was offered nothing.

Either this restaurant has changed hands or they just don't care. This meal was actually very expensive so for what you ordered you should have gotten something that matched the expense.

I gave this restaurant the benefit of the doubt and tried a third time but it let me down I would definitely not...

5/5! I definitely recommend this place. As a relatively small corner restaurant, my family went there for lunch expecting an okay experience. Instead, we found a gemstone restaurant that we will definitely be eating at again. First of all, the service was perfect. The restaurant was supposed to close at 2:15, and we came to the door 30 seconds if not a minute late. They still accepted us as customers and were very kind. The chef made wonderful food and they were very accepting and happy to serve us. The food was also magnificent, as earlier mentioned. The gyozas were the best we’ve ever had, and the quality of the ingredients was perfect. The sushi had perfect ratios of fish to rice, and we loved it so much! The fish was also fresh and delicious. This is a perfect family place, and it is so delicious! 100% recommend it for you and...

They changed the menu. The server told me that the chef who used to work left, so they had to change menu. Well, I wanted some sushi but they did not have anymore. The server recommended some Chirashi, so i ordered Chirashi Royal, which is 20 euro. Six pieces of salmon, some tai, one shrimp, one hokkigai and one unagi. And salad… those are what I got. Honestly, it is still a mystery why it costs 20 euro. It is too much to eat cheap and basic kinds of fish and strange combination of different veggies and seaweed. The owner has two another amazing korean restaurants, but this one is total disappointment. I’m NEVER going back.
