Worst experience in any food/drink establishment I’ve ever attended. Please to anyone viewing this, feel free to check my account. I only give good reviews to places and I’m not one to complain, but this was too bad to ignore and I want other people to be aware of what they are like. Firstly, I attended for the Euros final. I called beforehand and was told if I arrive at 6pm, I could get a table and stay until the game. Upon arrival at 6pm sharp, I was told they were fully booked and could only sit on the pavement outside. I didn’t cause an issue and said ok, we will do so. I ordered a drink and was given a plastic cup with lipstick all over it, it hadn’t even been washed. I made it half way through my drink before I realised and when I highlighted this to the server, he just took the cup, poured my drink from it into another cup, and walked away. No apology, nothing. After this, I was unhappy but still stayed and thought maybe I was unlucky. I now decided to order some food as the kick-off was at dinner time and when I asked for chips, they told me I couldn’t because they don’t allow food outside. Every other person around me had chicken, chips etc. and did not have this rule imposed on them. I then decided, since I’m on the pavement and technically not on their property (after refusing to let me purchase any food), I would order on Uber Eats and just have the drink I ordered with it. As soon as my food arrived and I sat back down, one of their security turns up out of nowhere and tells my girlfriend in French that we cannot eat other food here. She kindly explained that we were refused food and everyone else was allowed it (for no reason), and we didn’t want to drink with no food in our stomachs. His exact response was “those are the rules, if you don’t like it you can leave and go f* yourself”. I then tried to speak to him in English and he said the same to me in French so I decided to leave as I do not want to fight any threatening idiots like this. If this is the type of establishment you would like to put money into, be my guest. However, I highly suggest staying away and putting money into another nice and respectful local bar. There are many more to choose from and places like these deserve...
Read moreMy wife and I had an absolutely dreadful experience at this bar/restaurant. Right from the start, the service was abysmal. The waitress showed a shocking lack of awareness and consideration when she bypassed us to serve another couple who arrived after us. It was beyond distasteful and made us feel like we were invisible.
To add insult to injury, when the waitress finally decided to acknowledge our existence, she didn't even bother to greet us or initiate any conversation. It was a rude and unprofessional introduction that set the tone for the rest of the evening.
Things took a turn for the worse when the same waitress, accompanied by a group of people, chose to squat at the table next to us and began speaking in French while blatantly staring at us. This made my wife extremely uncomfortable, and we couldn't believe the level of unprofessionalism displayed by the staff.
Even when it came time to pay and I attempted to give some honest feedback to the bartender about the terrible service we received from the waitress, he callously brushed off my comments with a dismissive attitude, saying something like, "you're good." It was evident that customer feedback was of no importance to them, and they had no interest in addressing their shortcomings.
The overall experience left a bitter taste in our mouths, and we felt unwelcome and disrespected throughout our visit. If you're looking for a bar/restaurant that prioritizes pretentiousness and rudeness over genuine customer service, then this is the place for you. But for anyone seeking a pleasant and enjoyable dining experience, I strongly advise you to steer clear of this establishment.
One star out of five is too generous for the level of unprofessionalism and disrespect we encountered. Save your time, money, and sanity by choosing a different venue that values its customers and treats them with the respect they deserve. We won't be returning to this place, and I hope others think twice before subjecting themselves to such a terrible...
Read moreThis bar was a stop on a Latin party bus tour I booked. This is an Irish pub, but they let them take over the music. It is small, and there is a pool table, but if more than four people are waiting for a drink, you can risk getting hit with a pool stick. The bartenders were working, and there were many people, but there wasn't a crazy drink wait, so kudos to them. I didn't have any food, so I can't speak about food quality. There is an upstairs with tables, and their outdoor space is covered, which is a significant plus during the winter months. Overall, I would definitely come back; the drinks and atmosphere were good, and they were welcoming to the craziness of the bus, so again, major...
