Drinks are good, one relatively good waiter. But the rest of the staff is just... They didn't seem unfriendly at all but very inefficient when watching them. I am not sure if they ever received training, but it didn't seem like it. Their way of working slows everything down making the service below par. Eg: getting your check. Normally a waiter makes the bill at the bar then delivers it to the table and goes on taking other orders or cleaning tables. And then returing a minute or 2 later to the table so the guests have time to check their bill. In this case they just stood there the whole time while guests were checking their bill, getting their card,... Drinks were piling up at the counter of the bar so no more drinks could be put there creating a blockage because no new orders could be made. And these are just a few examples of a totally faulty way of working. If you are the owner, train your staff or get better ones because else this will never work. 4 staff members present for 9 tables and everything was still very, very slow. We kind of enjoyed our time just watching how everything was so inefficient, but I understand the bad reviews. Please take the remarks people give here and work with it, it's...

What a shame. We made a reservation in this restaurant because a lady in the tourism office give us this adresse. We made a reservation in the afternoon to have diner at 20.00 pm. We arrived at 19:53. First we have the worst place you can dream, certainly after to make a reservation. They never came with a card and after a half hour they came to ask what we want to drink and to eat. After some discussion we give our order. The first drinks arrive but were no complete. Finally after 45 minutes and 2 complaints the latest drink arrive. At 9:30 our food was not yet arrived. People that arrive later than us were already served. After a complain again and find in an excuse that they have a lot of work, we decided to cancel our order and went to a Japanese restaurant 100 meter further. Here we were served very quick and eat very good in a short time If you want to eat a hamburger, better go to mc Donalds. You know what you...

Despite being called L’Oktoberfest, the beer here is abysmal.

As avid beer drinkers, one of us even being German, we ordered a Paulaner, for which the keg/lines are clearly molded.

The beer was so bad, it was undrinkable.

When we tried to tell the waitress, she argued that we just didn’t like it and we still had to pay for it. This is a health and customer concern, so we tried explaining again, but she just kept arguing.

So, we ordered a different beer, a hoffbrau - only, the lines for this one are clearly moldy too because again, the beer was absolutely undrinkable.

If you’re coming here for beer, look elsewhere.

ETA: they did end up taking the bad beee off our bill, which was considerate, but we still weren’t able to have good beer due to the fact that the taps all need to be flushed, hence the one-star remaining. Plus, one of the waitresses, not the head waitress, was quite rude when we tried to explain the...

Tried a great variety of dishes at Brasserie L’OKTOBERFEST in Strasbourg. The fish and chips were golden and crispy, served with a fresh salad and fries. The rösti with smoked salmon and capers was deliciously hearty, paired well with a creamy dip. The chicken Caesar salad was generously portioned and well-balanced with shaved parmesan and croutons. The tarte flambée (flammekueche) was a highlight – thin, crisp, and loaded with creamy cheese, bacon, and mushrooms. A satisfying meal all around with a cozy, rustic vibe.

The food was fantastic and our waiter Han was awesome as well! We tried the pork knuckle and sauerkraut with meats and very much enjoyed both. It is located in a cute little square with lots of people watching and no cars to interrupt. We enjoyed some beers and wine and stayed for a couple of hours. Definitely recommend!
