Today we went to the restaurant and ate a tarte flambée, which was pretty good. We were a bit confused because we couldn't get all the dishes on the menu even though we went at a normal time to have lunch (1pm). Even though we entered and only spoke good french to the waiter he did not seem to care and only replied in english. So we spoke french and he always replied in english also after talking french with his colleagues. We confronted him in the end but he claimed that there are so many foreigners that for him it doesn't make sense to him to speak french. That seemed pretty rude to us because we obviously spoke french out of respect because we are in France. His colleagues seemed...

As you cross Pant de Faisan and head south, and half way along Rue des Moulins you will happen upon this nice side walk restaurant. It is one of many in the area. If you don't want to sit on side-walk you may find it more relaxing to sit on its back terrace overlooking the canal. Food was good. Service fast. Prices very acceptable for this touristy area Strasbourg. Keep on mind that here as in many other restaurants in Strasbourg, they tend to take a "break" around 3pm. So, it wont be a surprise if the waiter asks you to pay the bill because they are closing...

I just itemize a few things: The waiters are unable to speak a word of English There is an English menu available, but the prices shown therein are not at all close to reality. In fact, most of the courses are not even present in the French menu. Additionally, the mentioned prices are roughly half of the French counterpart, but they bill the French prices. The amount of food is too small. The tablecloth has a weird color composition; purple, yellow, red;...

Walked in on a rainy day and so lucky I did . They are very nice and speak English too! I had the onion soup and the duck and both were well seasoned and taste great . The atmosphere is very pleasant with positive vibes . They were so nice I was given free dessert and it tasted great ! A must visit if you’re in Strasbourg.

Came here looking for a meal close to our AirBnB and were not disappointed! Great serving sizes and lovely food. We rarely visit the same place more than once on a trip but we had to come back here and had another great experience with different meals. Ham Knuckle was a highlight for sure!
