La Magie de Noël — Local services in Strasbourg

The most beautiful gift shop is the most frustrating customer service/ cashier ever. She seems nice and all but slower than a sloth. There was a lady with a new born and pregnant as well as elderly people and the que was crazy long but the was she was taking care of the payment and packing is waaaaaaay too slow every one starts to get frustrated and and complaining. She takes her time to wrap each and every small pieces separately but that is not a problem the way she does is /even roll the paper is like as if she is doing a surgery and engaging with a slow and long conversation while doing that made everyone frustrated. We almost dropped everything and left but felt bad for the time we spent waiting already. I will go to Strasbourg again but not this shop. Please hire someone who is fit to a busy business or make two cashiers. Too bad the place looks pretty with a...

Strange to read other reviews and low rating of this store. We were allowed to roam and photo at leisure. Beautiful store. Well designed and a considerable range of products. Our purchases were all wrapped carefully and boxed safely and carrier bag provided at no extra charge. The lady was very chatty, telling us about the Christmas Market. Yes it is not cheap, but then buying a small bottle of water in Strasbourg cost Euro 2.50 and we do not see these products in the UK.
