First of all I like to highlight that this review doesn't evaluate the performance of the hotel as a whole. I have written a separate review for that!
Regarding the restaurant: Really bad quality overall!!
Every kind of protein was overcooked beyond believe. Why offer lamb, salmon, beef and other varieties if all they are good for is to make cement or bricks out of them. If the cooking personnel would buy their ravioli in a supermarket this would definitely improve quality. Deserts are okay because you get the same ones in most of the other park restaurants anyways. Want some Macarons at the end of dinner time, though? Go f yourself, there won't be any and they won't be refilled either. Most offered products are just protein (overcooked) + veggies (tasteless) + slimy sauce (most of them without identifiable taste).
Of course, staying at the New Port Hotel one does not want to bother and look for an alternative, but please do so. Please do never! Never! Pay the full price for this buffet. On a meal plan it costs you around 30 bucks and that is already way too much.
As well the kitchen staff starts to remove the information tags of the food whilst people are still eating and the restaurant is half full. Annoying.
Staff very stressed and struggling to keep "the magic" alive. Service tonight was good though.
We went to this restaurant once and canceled all upcoming reservations immediately (3 night / 4 day stay in hotel and park). Very disappointed. If I had actually paid 45 Euros (per person) for this slightly-better-than-gasoline-station food I would have...
Read moreThis was the best meal we had by far while at Disney. The buffet was not available due to covid but they had unlimited dishes which were very tasty although it’s not the same as a buffet when it comes to selection and freedom of choice. I had booked for the seafood and there wasn’t much seafood in the menu. The service was very good. The restaurant itself is very noisy as it’s packed and no doors open but it was still very enjoyable. Price wise, it’s overpriced for what you get and be careful asking for a birthday celebration. We wanted a small dessert with a candle for my 3 year olds birthday and ended up with a massive ice cream cake that mostly went to waste as we were only 4 adults and it was 35€ added to the bill! We had no idea until after but it was still lovely and my son loved it. Overall good but for the price I would have preferred seafood buffet as I had read in the...
Read moreFirstly I would like to thank our waiter Furio, he was very polite, patient and professional throughout, which considering it was our first time at Disneyland Paris really made us feel at ease and welcome 5 stars for him.
There was a good variety of food and our little one really enjoyed the kids stuff especially the Micky mouse vegetables. Our food was tasty and hot. The only let down was the fish section, which again has great variety but felt a bit 'heat lamp stale" not that you can do much about that on a buffet.
PS good luck with the ice-cream machine I think they got it from the same place as McDonald's.
All in all a great experience greatly assisted by our waiter (Furio) so much so we're considering coming back instead of one of the other restaurants...
