We came here based on google reviews otherwise hard to find as the restaurant is a bit hidden located on the first floor of a building originally in an apartment building.
It is a small family business the owners cook everything in the kitchen of the apartment. The interior is originally from the aristocratic era with high ceilings and decorations on the walls. The original wooden floor and the old windows made it feel like entering my grandmothers house in an absolute good way.
The waitress was alone she was extremely cute and funny lady and handled everything fast and smoothly. I choose purely vegetarian dishes taking a break from all the meat we had while visiting Georgia. They offer vegetarian and vegan options great for people who just seek refreshments or are actually vegan/vegetarian. I had the mushrooms stew with vegetable sides. My boyfriend had the home made sausage with fried fruits. I tried a piece and it was delicious and really home made! We shared the baby potatoes on the side which is the most simple dish but I have to say it was the best potato I had in my entire life! Crispy on the outside, warm and soft inside, salty, umami very comforting. All in all felt like a light but filling home made meal.
I found the mushroom dish a but overpriced considering all meat dishes being cheaper than that, but it might be due to availability locally.
All in all the food and the experience was great, quiet and cosy. Giving tips the waitress mentioned that the owners don’t take any and they want that all tips are going strictly to her which I think is super cool!
Thank you Beletage Team for the...

Service: 10/10 - I could not fault them from the moment we walked in until the moment we left. I’d suggest tipping these guys 10-15% as they rock.
Suggestions: The wine they recommended is was spot on. I asked for an extremely dry white, and they delivered with no messing about. We had the ‘Bunches’ - I would compare it to Sancerre. It was exceptional and I’m very happy that they suggested it. The wine was a mid-priced item - and they could have seen us coming and recommended an expensive option and I’d have accepted but they didn’t. Truly, this was the best white I’ve had in Georgia. 60 Lari - get one, get two - it was sublime.
Food: Truly fantastic. My girlfriend had the lamb ribs - 9.5/10. I had the trout, I’ve never had better fresh water fish. Sides were great! I am extremely fussy and this was my favourite meal in Tbilisi - by far (including some of the most fancy restaurants in the country).
Aftercare: ENGLISH PEOPLE - BE CAREFUL OF THE CHACHA! I nearly threw up. I am a veteran alcoholic. Leave the complimentary post-dinner shot alone. I ran to the bathroom and was only fixed by a Marlboro Red (I quit smoking 2 years ago)!
General vibe: The back seating area was quiet and calm, I loved the baby cats that entertained my girlfriend whilst we waited for food.
Overall 9.75/10 - highly recommended just avoid the post-dinner free Chacha.
This was a highlight of my trip: thank you...
Read moreOne of the best meals I’ve had in a long time, truly impressed on every level. We ordered a variety of starters and mains, and everything was full of flavor. The tomato salad with walnut sauce was an absolute standout, rich, fresh, and unlike anything I’ve tried before. The veal chops with wine were tender and juicy, and the blueberries they served somehow tasted like peak summer. We also had grilled chicken with special apricot sauce that felt incredibly fresh, you could even see some fruit fibers in it, which gave it that homemade real fruit quality you rarely get.
The atmosphere was warm and inviting, like stepping into grandma's old family home that's been turned into a restaurant. Rustic, cozy, with tasteful paintings and charming wall textures. it all added to a relaxed, homey vibe. The staff were kind, attentive, and spoke great English, which made the experience even smoother.
One unique and fun touch is they serve the bill inside a traditional Georgian horn, which one of the staff explained is traditionally used in Georgian culture to drink ale or wine during feasts. Super cool to see. :)
We were too full to try the wine or cocktails this time, but it just gives us another reason to return. Honestly, Beletage might become one of my favorite spots in Georgia, can’t...
