Barnovi Boutique Hotel — Hotel in Tbilisi

Very tasteful and stylish modern rooms, new and neatly executed with superb craftsmanship (I just was in a fairly new Renaissance hotel in New York and by comparison that was done so sloppily!). Also the bathroom is stylish and toilets come with an excellent hose for personal hygiene and a good number of towel racks; great toiletries. Only two areas of improvements in the room are the mattress (very soft and had a slight trough in the upper half - still ok to sleep but not ideal) and little details that make the bathroom a bit cumbersome (it in particular would be great to have a bit more surface area to deposit a toilet bag and toiletry items). The terrace for breakfast and a drink in the evening is lovely. Breakfast 8-11:30 allows for a leisurely start in the day. And location in my view is superb - Rustaveli metro station is a mere 5 minutes down the hill, and both the touristy old town and the commercial center across the river are easily reached, and yet the hotel is tucked away in a nice residential neighborhood. We spent a week here as a just-married couple, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely cared for and welcomed. The reception staff made us feel like we were part of a family — always helpful, smiling, and supportive.

The interior design of the rooms was also a highlight. Our room had a calming gray color palette that made us feel protected and peaceful.

Breakfast was another big plus — nurturing, fresh, and high-quality. Every morning we enjoyed delicious, well-prepared food that felt made with love and care.

A year ago, we stayed at the Radisson Blu and didn’t enjoy it — the atmosphere there felt chaotic, the service wasn’t very helpful, and the rooms were dusty. In contrast, choosing this boutique hotel was the best decision. It was calm, clean, and relaxing — no stress, no hustle.

The only minor issue was that sometimes we could hear voices from nearby rooms, but it wasn’t constant and didn’t bother us much. The warm and friendly attitude of the staff made up for everything.
