Cheri Pasta Bar is a charming, intimate venue nestled in a historic building, adorned with high ceilings and remnants of old frescoes that lend a captivating beauty. The large open kitchen adds a lively, inviting touch to the atmosphere.

FOOD:

The menu focuses on pasta, complemented by a selection of Italian appetizers. All pasta is house-made, with options crafted from egg yolks or standard dough. We ordered the vitello tonnato, which leaned closer to pastrami in style; it was tasty overall, though we wished for a bolder tuna flavor in the sauce, as you’d expect from the classic version. We also tried the pasta with confit chicken and broccoli in a creamy sauce. This dish was outstanding—the pasta had a perfect, smooth, and springy texture, cooked al dente. The sauce struck an ideal balance, neither too runny nor overly thick, with just the right touch of salt, while the confit chicken melted in the mouth with a delightful tenderness. Every pasta is handmade, and while we didn’t try the egg-based version, we imagine it would be equally impressive.
