Cosy Koala Hostel — Hotel in Tbilisi

If you are considering staying here, stop researching and just book it! Trust me, I'm so picky about hostels, I very rarely find one I'm willing to spend any real amount of time at. And I have stayed exclusively at this one on several different occasions passing through Tbilisi for up to a week at a time. The beds have been well thought through, and all have soft lights and outlets. The bottom ones also have privacy curtains though the top ones don't. There are numerous private restrooms with built in showers, as opposed to other hostels that have group shower/toilet spaces. Also included is a great communal lounge space, with laptop friendly working spaces, and a fully equipped kitchen with everything you would ever need for meal prep. But by far the best reason to book here is the star of the show, the manager Brendon. His friendly and outgoing personality really is the thing that keeps me coming back. He is by far the best hostel host I have ever encountered in my travels across 50 countries. Brendon is terrific at making new guests feel immediately welcome by making introductions to like minded people, and facilitating conversations at every turn. I have personally spent hours chatting with him, and he is often times the most positive person I encounter in a given week. To ever lose him, would have an immediately measurable impact on this property, as he is truly irreplaceable! I strongly recommend this hostel to anyone looking, and would give it 20...

This was the most unprofessional and terrible hostel experience I’ve ever had, with chaotic management. I asked if I could sleep in an empty, made-up bed, but was told no. I was assigned a messy bed that hadn’t been cleaned after the previous guest. When I returned at midnight, the bed was still in the same state. It was only after I spoke to staff that they put on the bed linens and made the bed. While I understand if the empty bed was reserved, it remained unused by the next day at noon.

The room was cramped and poorly ventilated, and there was a strong smell of foot odor upon entering. Whenever the person in the lower bunk moved, the entire bed would shake.

Brandon is one of the most amazing people I have met, he took care of me from the first moment for everything I needed, he is the kind of person who immediately enters your heart and stays there.
