Definitely recommended despite something in my experience that I found a little annoying. Very pleasant, cosy, chill and slightly retro-hip ambience but it's hard to be a regular here unless you know exactly when you'll find seating -- it's small, i.e., probably a 15-seat max. Mostly excellent service and products. We tried the hot chocolates (the orange was very interesting), iced coffee, cinnamon rolls and Swedish cardamom & cinnamon buns. All excellent except the Swedish cardamom & cinnamon buns, which were bland (probably not enough sugar and a missing pinch of salt) and although this may be due to the vendor's inconsistency, ensuring quality of products served to customers is the cafe's responsibility. Also, I thought the hot chocolate was a tad thin--I like it to taste a bit fuller. Not sure if that's doable but let's hope it is. Although the cafe should accept responsibility for product quality and not attempt to deflect accountability to the vendor, I am pleased enough to give recommend it and give it a 5-star rating. NOTE: It would be great to see some gluten-free options and maybe even a wider range of food like salads...
Read moreDiscovering this gem in Georgia was an absolute delight. Not only does this establishment boast some of the most amiable people I've encountered in the city, but they also excel in English proficiency. The ambiance exudes coziness, further enhanced by the delightful presence of a friendly canine companion who graces the premises each evening. Dog lovers, take note – this furry friend eagerly loves treats and really gets excited and happy if you bring him a little gift :). As for the culinary experience, I can't recommend the V60 enough; it's become my go-to choice to kickstart my days here, with its consistently exceptional taste. Plus, if hunger strikes, a fantastic pasta joint conveniently resides next door, ensuring a satisfying meal is never far away. Crossing my fingers for a return visit someday – this place has truly left a...
Read moreIt's such a shame that nobody in the cafe speaks Georgian (not even English). I don't want to be greeted by Russians in a country 20% of which is occupied by Russia.
Mildly disappointed with the interior of the place, to be more precise – that one piece of furniture, that I’m fairly positive calls himself a waiter. Imagine having the cheek to greet a Georgian guest in Russian language. Felt as if I had unwittingly walked into some portal to Moscow, which would be a massive mistake on my end. Gave my head a bit of a wobble and guess what - no, I’m still in Georgia. So the only natural response from me was to get out of there as soon as humanly possible. Not even angry, no, because you need to care in order to feel that feeling, and if I’m being completely honest with you - I do not. Just mildly disappointed. With...
