41° Art of Drinks — Restaurant in Tbilisi

Obnoxious behaviour of the Host.

To start this review, I first visited your bar around two months ago when I first arrived to Tbilisi. Top notch bartenders and amazing drinks. Being somewhat nostalgic and knowing what I want to drink I usually order the cocktails which are not on the menu. Me and my girlfriend ended up having a great time and although some of the drinks were not on the menu they were executed perfectly.

Now on the 27th of September we made another visit. The host working on that day started with commenting on my girlfriend´s outfit. Then, after I ordered a cocktail not from the menu he proceeded to argue with me that its not how its done in your fine establishment. My arguments to the fact that I already had these drinks in your place or that it´s absolutely normal practice to order what you want in the bar of such caliber also did not work. The guy obviously had way too many drinks (which he himself merrily admitted) and just kept coming up with "witty" comments such as: "bro, we can make you anything but you would have to wait for it for 20 minutes" or "bro, we can make you anything but bartenders would not enjoy making this for you". The cocktail would be done in 2 minutes tops lol. The dude just kept insisting that I HAVE TO order a certain drink from the menu.

To put it mildly, that is a very bizarre behaviour of a personnel at one of the most expensive...

41 Degrees in Georgia is an absolute gem! From the moment we stepped inside, It felt like we were catching up with old friends. What truly elevated our experience were the fantastic cocktails, each one expertly crafted and accompanied by a captivating story about its origin and inspiration – a delightful touch that added so much character.

We were so impressed by the team's knowledge and passion; they patiently explained everything, even sharing the bar's history and the reason behind its name. A special shout-out to Denis, our incredible bartender, who went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and valued.

The cocktails themselves were so exceptional that I put my trust in their creativity and asked for three rounds of surprises – and each one was a masterpiece! A fantastic cocktail bar in Tiblisi with great staff and atmosphere - a hidden gem!! They have a super interesting, handwritten menu, but I would really recommend to go with recommendations of the barkeepers. Based on a few questions about what I like the barkeeper recommend their modern interpretation of an Italian cocktail from the 1930s which is based on dark rum and red wine - I didn’t have a better cocktail in a long long time. Another outstanding cocktail was based on Amaretto, Absinth & Sherry - might sound strange at first, but it was an amazing blend of flavours at every sip.
