DuChef Shevchenko — Restaurant in Tbilisi

I had big expectations and it's nothing more than just pretty cafe with pretty but not tasty food. We ordered chicken Ravioli soup, mousse cake, croissant with Almond cream and pineapple juice. Chicken Ravioli was... disappointment. There was only few Ravioli and it had tiny amount of filling ;d taste was bellow average and price for this quality - high. Mousse cake was tasty, but biscuit that is bellow the mousse was hard as rock 🪨 However, Croissants were delicious. Staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. Environment was beautiful. I was looking for a cafeteria with some cakes in the afternoon. Ended up at DuChef. Place looks very fancy, but it was not the most satisfying place i ever visited. Average coffee. Felt too much pressure from waitress, while looking at the desserts and trying to decide and got interrupted every time with recommendations which were irrelevant, as she was trying to sell any of them. At the end we ordered coffees and two desserts, one supposed to be with lychee flavour, but it didn’t taste like it. Second was quite tasty, with filling inside.

DuChef is located in the central part of the city, but in a very quite place to enjoy your breakfast/lunch. Jt is very cosy and atmoshpheric place.

They offer good variety of desserts and cakes, breakfast/lunch options also look well from salads to toasts.

The service is fast and pleasant. The place is not too crowded, so you can enjoy your meal peacefully.

I'e tried Risotto and toast with salmon, both good. Portions are average size.

I'm sure you can try here the best desserts in Tbilisi. Especially tart with pistachio and raspberry.
