This place was recommended so at our first visit everything was nice and smooth. We actually loved so decided to come again. When we came second time we asked if we can sit on the soft couch, where the waiter (lady) said yes, the couple paid and will leave in 10 min so they can move us. Meanwhile we chose to sit somewhere in the corner waiting. I asked to add some apples/berries basically fruits to cheese platter where the waiter (guy) said it’s impossible as they don’t have any apples and so on which is ok. When the couple left, we asked the waiter (guy) if we can move. He said no, because if 4 people come we had to move - which we were actually ok to do. Anyway as the lady was the one who said yes to us, we asked her if we can move now on what we also get declined as she agreed with the male waiter. No apologies no sorry nothing. The peak was when couple of 2 arrived and chose to sit that exact spot. No comments from waiters we didn’t get either. We just paid and left, didn’t even eat anything. Sad that such a nice place with amazing food, wine and ambience will not get any more recommendations due to its poor communication and...

The outdoors is groovy, set in a sunken area that has spacious seating under (excessively) bright festoon lighting and umbrellas. The indoors is tasteful, reminding you of a cosy old home's living room. Servers are good natured and since there is a limited menu of which their produce is locally sourced, the meals are served fresh and full of flavor. One of the items was already finished by the time we got there (grilled bone marrow) however the menu has many other tasty options. We got just starters to avoid a heavy meal: pan fried olives, roasted pumpkin aragula salad (amazing) and khachapuri bread. This supported the full...
Read moreOne of my favorite places in Tbilisi! The food, the mood, and the wine are absolutely amazing.. If you’re lucky enough to meet the owner Salome, she will join you at your table, make sure you feel welcomed and give you the best food recommendations :) I visited Sulico more than once during my trip, and I’ve tried several dishes on the menu: Khachapuri, burrata, dolma, Shkmeruli chicken, trout fish… Georgian food with a twist; simple, creative, and sooooo delicious!! Now the wine is a different story; the list is endless! I’m absolutely in love with the amber white dry :) And what made me come back so many times is the vibe, the music, and the people in this...
