Ho Vang — Restaurant in Berlin

Honestly? Nope! The salmon came dry and overcooked and it was zero tasting. The real problem came when it was time to pay. “Sorry we take only EC-Karte” (if you are not from Germany, it’s a German payment method, sort of a local debit card). That means I couldn’t pay with my normal debit cards (Visa or Mastercard), either EC Karte or cash (of course they prefer cash… ever heard of taxes? This is unfortunately still a very common bad habit in Berlin). We complained, it was pouring it down outside, not really into going to the next atm. Their excuse: “Our contract (with the POS) is from 2003 and is still running until end of 2023.” Ehmmm, hello? Ever heard of cancellation? I’m sorry but it’s 2023, it’s a capital city, I’m no more tolerant for this nonsense. First and last time there. There are plenty (well, many..) alternatives....

While looking for a place to eat which offers an Asian cuisine during my trip to Berlin, me and my friend came across this place. My experience with this restaurant is wonderful! The location is easily accessible and approximately 5 min walking from the famous Alexanderplatz. The restaurant offers a huge variation of Asian dishes, among others sushi and rice/noodles dishes. The staff was very hospitable and quick, despite the crowds. I ordered a rice dish with chicken, which was very delicious. It was a big portion, and the food was fresh. The price is reasonable as well. The place itself is pleasant, offering a delightful room with wonderful decoration and comfortable seats. Overall, whether you visit Berlin or are a local, I highly recommend this place if you enjoy...

They brought a wrong cocktail. We complained, but the lady said that no, that was what we wanted. We said but it was supposed to have Curaçao, how it is so orange. She said there is just a little for the flavour, so it didn't change the colour. All the point of curaçao is the colour, but we said okay whatever. We tasted, it tasted pineapple. We said that we are sure that we didn't order something with pineapple, and tastes pineapple. She said, not it is the combination that taste similar pineapple!!!! Then the food came. I ordered something in role. They gave me a kind of noodle salad. I complained. She said it was a mistake in the menu!!!!! I refused to eat that. They didn't charge us for that food, but it was very annoying. We had to go out to find another...
