Café Bakery Bonjour — Restaurant in Berlin

A lovely café & bakery in the centre of Berlin specialising in variety of breakfast and snack sandwiches.

The place is quite popular with locals, so you can see a lot of people walking in and out with their orders. Their offer is quite wide and because I wasn't quite sure what to get, I asked the super nice (and English speaking) ladies to recommend me something for breakfast.

The first sandwich was a large sourdough-style bun with meatloaf, a good portion of scrambled, eggs, veggies and a lot of mustard. The second one slightly smaller and a different shape, also with scrambled eggs, but equally delicious. And the best part was the crunchy fresh bread.

I also ordered a large latte macchiato to go and even though I didn't expect much, the foam was so well prepared it was like a cream. All the portions including the coffee were big, more than enough for a breakfast and the prices here are reasonable (especially after the recent wave of inflation). I paid around €12 for the coffee and both sandwiches.

The attention from the waitresses is good. However I had an episode where the prices of the salads were misinformed with the prices at approximately 2 euros and at the corner of the gondola it said that the price of the bowl was 5 euros. I found out when I paid for it and when I complained cordially the manager came and was very rude speaking loudly while all the customers listened. It's a shame there is a lack of customer service culture.
