Charlie's Beach — Restaurant in Berlin

This place is great to take a break, sit in beach chairs on the sand or in cushioned chairs near fire pits or at tables. The center is sand and makes you feel like you are really at the beach. The perimeter has little food carts offering food and drinks. All are great. We had the best mojitos for 8 euro and some curry wurst and fries for 9 euro. There is Mediterranean, seafood, burgers, German food , hamburgers, and a sweet stand for ice cream. Great place to relax and unwind after sightseeing. I even saw some tourists taking a brief nap in their beach chairs. Food and prices here are fantastic. It’s a great place to relax, but other than the people around you, there is no people watching. Ate here today, food was pretty decent tasting and the vibe was great. Unfortunately, about halfway through a I found a broken toothpick within the wrap itself. Pointed this out to the employee just for health/sanitary reasons for future customers, was not looking for a refund. This employee couldn’t care less about being shown the toothpick, just kept staring off into space, and made absolutely zero effort in trying to check the prep table. Seemed much more concerned with showing me away by saying okay over and over (there was no one else waiting/ordering). DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND NEVER EVER GO EAT A CURRYWURST THERE. IT SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO BE CALLED AS SUCH. Otherwise location quite ok. Additional comment to the owners' answer: It remains the owner's responsibility to make sure that on site business's provide a minimum quality in particular for the price visitors pay. Hence, do YOU think it is fair to pay 6€ for a sausage fried 2 minutes in an oil pan? Have you also tried their sauce? Despite the extremely high price we did not finish it... and we were hungry.
