Einstein Kaffee in Berlin, located conveniently near the historic Checkpoint Charlie, is a charming spot for a coffee break amid exploring the city. The café has a sophisticated ambiance, with a stylish interior that blends classic European coffeehouse vibes with a modern touch. It’s the kind of place where you can easily settle in for a quiet moment, whether you’re catching up on some reading or simply watching the world go by.

Read moreBeverages and Barista were fine but I had the most awkward experience when I used the bathroom before leaving. I didn’t have any cash, since I jogged to the cafe to meet a friend I had paid with my watch. There was a cleanjng staff in the bathroom that kept insisting I pay 1€ to use the toilet, despite that fact I was a paying customer. How am I supposed to pay a € if I paid electronically? I really had to use the toilet so I apologized. But when I came out she got aggressive and insisted again, the third time that I pay. This was too much. I realize that the cleaning staff should make a living, but as technology allows us to use our mobile devices to pay, and thus have no change for using the toilet, they cannot expect everyone to pay in cash. Plus, as a paying customer at the cafe, why should I pay to use the toilet? Is this woman being exploited and doesn’t earn a living wage and thus is aggressive in demanding something that should be optional? In any case, it’s all in bad taste and I won’t come...
Read moreI'm going to be honest. This is one of the most expensive neighbourhoods. Supposed to represent Berlin's touristy area Checkpoint Charlie. Doing a poor job. They don't have any explanation for the one euro put on the door. Making even customers feel like they would have to pay, which you don't. By law you're not allowed to be made paid if you're already spending money as a customer. Point 2 actually very embarrassing. If you search up wifi networks 2 pop up. Gast Einstein and Kaffeeeinstein. One has a key and one is supposedly open. The open one doesn't work, is unaccessible. The closed one, who knows. I explicitly asked for the wifi and the worker at the counter said that they don't have wifi. Which is unheard of in a franchise Cafe that is supposed to be a place to also sit at and do some work. Very inconvenient, overpriced place. I dont recommend coming here, just drive a little further somewhere where it's actually...
