SEHR SCHRECKLICH. The WORST service I have had in Berlin.
Avoid. They don't deserve even 1 star. I stopped in this tourist trap by mistake to get a quick iced coffee to go. Stood by the bar and asked the waitress for the iced coffee. She instead of making it in the bar, went somewhere behind the bar and came back with the cup in hand quickly. Now thinking about it makes me think that she perhaps filled it with some cheap supermarket product. Paid 5.50 Euros for it and had a sip while going away just to realize that it was EXTREMELY sweet with hardly any coffee in it. I went back wondering if there was a mistake. I reminded the waitress politely that I didn't ask for any sugar or milk. She was very rude, passing me to his bartender colleague while blabbering in German. He didn't behave any better and was very pretentoius. He asked where I do come from(?!) and then stated that iced coffee in Germany always comes with milk, sugar, caramel and ice cream in it.(!) And that I must ask for "cold coffee" next time! Which is obviously NOT true. At least in all other places in the city where I had my coffee for several months and according to German friends. But I decided to not argue and left offended. Even IF that was the case, in any other decent place they would have at least offered to change it in this situation instead of asking the customer questions like where do him/her comes from and try to give him/her the fault while being so useless and unhelpful. They make you pay more than average in Berlin to give you in exchange a very cheap, arrogant and...

I still cannot believe what happened at this place, it’s probably my worst experience in 8y of this city. I went to have a coffee and I asked if I could pay with card, and the answer was no. I had no big bill so I paid with coins (some small and some big), to which the staff said they cannot accept it since they aren’t a supermarket.
I asked why they didn’t accept the card then, and they justified there was a minimum purchase. I mean, if you don’t want to accept cards, and you don’t want to receive coins, why do you open a cafe then in the first place?
Anyway, the situation escalated and they were insisting me to collect the coins and pay with the card. I said I would leave since the coffee was paid for anyway, the money was there. This blond woman grabbed me by the arms saying I wouldn’t go anywhere and she would call the police.
So I was treated as a criminal and my crime was paying a 3€ coffee with coins. Eventually someone whom I assume is the manager of the place saw it and told her to let me go, but really? All this fuss for absolutely nothing since the coffee was paid for? I am...
