A tourist trap. I only ate here because I have a group of visitors who wanted to grab sth to eat by the river. Would never take anyone to eat here again. I had a veggie box for almost 10€, and 3/4 of the box was filled by cheap salad. In a normal Berlin kebab place this would cost half the price, and there would at least be rice and more grilled vegetables inside. The service was also horrible, even for Berlin standard. My group was trying to be as respectful and accommodating as possible, but the staff made fun among themselves because they thought the "tourists" couldn't understand German, and didn't care much for what we wanted. I know Mustafa Demir is turning into a chain now, but some other locations have much better value products and friendlier service...

Mustafa Demir’s Gemüse Kebap located under the s bahn station area, offers an affordable, no-frills kebab takeaway with some seating available. The lamb kebab is a standout, loaded with fresh vegetables like peppers and lettuce, and wrapped in a nicely grilled pita with a slight crunch. They take pride in their preparation and you can see it in the food. The textures are excellent, combining the crispiness of fresh veggies with the juiciness of plump tomatoes. The meat is well-cooked, fatty enough to add flavor, and complements the rest of the ingredients well when finished off with a squeeze of zesty lemon. Overall quick and casual kebabs, good value for money with its fresh pita and flavorful...

I tried the chicken döner at Mustafa’s Can Gemüse Kebap in Berlin. It was very much a street food experience; I wasn’t expecting an extraordinary taste, and to be honest, the flavor didn’t go beyond that. Coming from Turkey, I’ve eaten countless döners in my life. Compared to the Turkish style, the addition of vegetables was unusual for me, but I actually enjoyed it a lot. Turkish döner often feels a bit heavy to me, while the German-style döner is lighter and fits my palate better. The bread, however, wasn’t really my favorite, and the price felt higher than many other options in the city. Still, it’s an interesting spot to try if you want to experience one of Berlin’s iconic...
