Baan Prickynoo Thai Restaurant — Restaurant in Dusseldorf

I am posting this review in English as it is easier to share my total disappointment better than in German! I have been a Foodora user for long now and noticed this restaurant today. We ordered food as the menu looked very appealing, honestly, total disappointment and not worth the money paid. Each dish costs 12,50€ and has nothing special what cannot be got in another Chinese/Thai Imbiss for 4-5 bucks. There was hardly any leeks or broccoli in the Fried Rice Noodles dish and the Fried Rice had no flavour or sauce to accompany. The vegetables used were also frozen and did not taste fresh. Would not recommend...

I read a couple of reviews before going to this restaurant, hoping that the negative reviews brought about improvements. I ordered a fried chicken dish (H4 on the menu). It looked great, but unfortunately, it was "swimming " in a slightly dilute/runny sauce that tasted strongly of soya sauce. I ate the meat but was very thirty that night. Ich habe kürzlich dieses Thai-Restaurant besucht und war enttäuscht vom Pad See Ew. In Thailand und auch anderswo wurde mir dieses Gericht immer mit Guay Tiew Sen Yai (den breiten Reisnudeln) serviert, nicht mit Tagliatelle. Auch wenn ich verstehe, dass es schwieriger sein kann, Gai Lan (Thailändischer Brokkoli) zu finden, ist es in vielen asiatischen Supermärkten in Deutschland erhältlich – es erfordert nur ein wenig mehr Aufwand. Stattdessen wurde normaler Brokkoli verwendet, was schon untypisch ist, aber in Ordnung wäre. Was jedoch gar nicht passt, sind Karotten und Zwiebelringe, die hier in großen Mengen verwendet wurden – das hat mit authentischem Pad See Ew überhaupt nichts zu tun. Der Geschmack bestand hauptsächlich aus super salzigem Sojasauce, ohne andere ausgewogene Aromen. Insgesamt wirkte es eher wie eine zufällige Mischung aus Hühnchen und Nudeln.

Das einzig Thailändische an diesem Erlebnis war das Chang-Bier. Falls die Köche Thai sind, wundert es mich, warum das Gericht so verzerrt wird. Falls nicht, sollte man sich besser mit authentischen Rezepten beschäftigen. Zudem musste ich über 30 Minuten auf mein Essen warten. Leider kann ich dieses Restaurant basierend auf meiner Erfahrung...
