TOURIST TRAP - I trusted the ratings…
You probably ended up here due to the incredible rating on google. 4.8 at 1600 reviews is astonishing but also alarming.
The majority of people are English people, thus we knew that most of them probably ended up here just like us - the google ratings.
The whole utensils were dirty. The prices totally exaggerated. A small portion for 19-25€. The service was not attentive. We asked for recommendation and they were annoying pointing towards some dishes.
Taste wise everything is slightly spicy. I had way better Butter chicken and laughed when I tried their garlic naan that’s been promoted hardly here which taste simply bland. The seafood platter for 26€ consists of mostly Paprika and surimi which is not even real fish.
Overall I truly believe the business model is to lure people, especially tourists into trying mayur and then ending up paying shit lots of money for little value so that this place get a one-shot big return for their food. That’s why this place is full because it doesn’t haben regulars.
Our dishes were disappointing and it’s another underwhelming story of the feeling that we all hate - leaving tons of money for dissatisfying food that makes you feel bad because of the cheap ingredients, the calories and the expensiveness.
The staff doesn’t look happy and are clearly being underpaid and micromanaged. I really regret coming here

The restaurant was at 50% -ish capacity on a Monday afternoon.
I have to deduct one star because of a bad experience - when we asked for the bill, the aunty told us it was 53.30. I wanted to pay by card but she said she preferred cash. So I paid by cash. She returned the change and I said I would like to have a copy of the bill. She got annoyed with me and on her way back to the counter she told the uncle in a voice loud enough that I could hear: "Maine 30 cents kam liye phir bhi bill maang rahi hai". 😒 Like I can't pay 30 cents? I didn't ask for a discount. I don't need to justify why I wanted to see the bill but I wanted to because the amount wasn't clear to me (why would you tell me the amount verbally? Did you tell the other non-indian customers the amount verbally? I saw other customers paying by card) and I wanted to leave a tip. This really left...
