Happy update on April 16: Yesterday, I enjoyed the No. 2 beef noodle with top-notch customer service. I was ushered to my seat. As I waited, one of the staff (or owner?) approached me to ask if I could move to a corner seat to make it possible for a group of three guests to sit together. I said sure. He dubbed my new seat as the VIP seat, as it lends me an exclusive view of the noodle master’s work bench. The master chef works in such a controlled and relaxed fashion. He checked on the quality of my noodle with that signature care for their work that genuine artisans in all walks of life share. What an experience. ———————————- No complaints about the food at all, but man, was it stressful. First things first. The noodles are superb. The rounds of rising, kneading and stretching are to some degree machine-assisted. The table-top stretcher reminds me of the bigger ones for making croissant dough in industrial kitchens. But the core work that gives the noodles their signature texture, that gentle resistance of the noodles as your teeth sink in, is done by hand. The master chef was working at top capacity the whole time I was there, waiting to order and waiting for the order. The menu is simple (which I like) and easy to navigate. Everyone talks in numbers. I want number 2. I’ll take number 5. hahaha. Card payment threshold is 20 euro. Take note. I went at 12:40 on a Friday. Jam packed. Not eager to repeat the stressful experience soon. But I’ll be back, mostly likely with the fellow fans of hand-pulled noodles in my family. That is, everyone in my family, lol.

First things first, the food is outstandinggg!! I was quite stressed looking at jam-packed space, especially when you have to find your own table/space to sit and self-serve! I took one star out of 5 because of that! We had chicken noodles, soup, dumplings, and salad. The chicken in the noodles was very tender and delicious. The chicken felt like deboned instead of a boneless chicken, which tasted amazing. The noodles are of course hand-made (you will notice the chef endlessly making it at the counter!) and taste delicious, especially the bite of it. The service is virtually non-existent. You have to find your own space to sit and get your own food. A bit stressful if you are sitting outside since carrying a service plate full of bowls and plates surely feels like walking on a rope! So be advised! The menu is simple and easy to navigate. Prices are affordable. We spent about 46€ on 2 mains, a dumpling, and a side, plus 2 drinks. Since it is walkable from my apartment, I will find a time with virtually no rush for the next time. Otherwise, it will be painful! 4.5 stars for me and highly recommended, but visit on odd times!

Service and flavours are very important when eating out and here everything was right ✨ Food: Delicious, warm, fresh spices like spring onions and garlic Ordered: Vegetarian hand pulled noodles with eggplant and chili Service: very friendly and attentive from beginning to end, took time to explain the menu, gave the customer enough time to ask questions and order Atmosphere: they have a nice renovated place with cleaned seats, an open kitchen which is surprisingly very calm and not loud at all, also very fascinating to watch the noodle master make fresh noodles 🍜 Thanks I will come again, hope to see more vegetarian options for the main dish. :3 And maybe have a clear menu which dishes are in general vegetarian.
