Having been at this place for a few times made me rise my standards. I’ve started to notice the small details that really make a difference and suddenly, the service of a four or five star place anywhere in the world that had always seemed to be ok, had a hard time to compete with this place. To me this place is so unique because Customers always come first in everything they do. They will always try everything to give you the best experience. At this place they’d rather chop off their hands than serving you an improper or hard incomplete drink. For me, this is something I only began to fully appreciate after realizing that so many other bars I’ve been to don’t bother at all about their integrity and their customers experience. it’s hard to find places that pay attention to the level of detail in the way Embury does. I asked the owner once whether he was not frustrated about all the effort they put in their drinks which the average customer might not even notice. His answer was no I’m not disappointed. It’s not about that at all. I want to serve my drinks in the best way I can so our customs can have the best possible experience. If you pay attention you will notice that this bar is driven by passion and enthusiasm. It’s much more than just selling drinks but it’s completely up to the customer how deep they want to plunge into it. The bar is indeed interestingly laid out. You ring the doorbell to get in and are first struck by the selection of spirits.

The service is okayish. They don't like to give advice on drinks and ask you to make a selection from the menu. Otherwise you get a brief info on special varieties, but that's it.

The selection of drinks is indeed huge, but the price is shocking. Frankfurt is expensive, but not that expensive.

We paid 35 euros for 2 gin tonics. The bar is neither classy nor special in terms of service, which would justify the price.

In regards to your living, we all are struggling but that doesn't mean to rip off your customers.

And being professional means also to accept critical views and to make sure to be better next time.

This is an absolutely must to visit bar if you’re in Frankfurt Germany!!!!!! This is the classic dim lighting, limited seating and standing in line outside for the best drinks if you want to experience a classy bar. We found this place bc my husband had a hard finding a bar that had Blaton’s bourbon or Johnnie Walker Blue available and this was the PLACE. We arrived around 4pm and was able to be seated immediately at the bar. It was quite at first and then at 5:30-6pm was when the crowd started lining up to get in. The bartenders were extremely nice!!!!! The menu had so much to choose from. They serve small appetizers if you were hungry but nothing bigger. The scene when it was peak time was so cool!!!
