I went to this place for dinner. The place is run by Japanese people. The food is authentic and the sushi was actually quite OK, with a relatively big slice of fish and small rice ball. You cannot argue with that.

Nonetheless, I only rate it 3 star because it was not worth the high price. I think it is ok to pay a bit more for high quality (Japanese!) food, but here, the price was too high (at 70 euros for 2) and the quality was just not good enough for that. The fish was not cut in such a nice way (although it tasted good) and the portions were too small (in relation to the price). The chopsticks are cheap disposable chopsticks like the ones from your local Chinese fried noodle shop. The wasabi looked not like it was freshly made but squeezed from a tube. This is not acceptable at this price point, where I expect original Japanese reusable chopsticks and fresh wasabi. Service was slow and the waiting time, even for our edamame beans, was long considering the simplicity of our orders and the fact that the restaurant was not very full. All in all, it wasn't a totally bad experience and the food isn't bad quality. But it is not worth the money. If they halve their prices, it would be...

Good food, the fish is fresh, the rice portions are plump and delicious but the waiting time is quite long. We waited for 10-15 minutes for the sashimi dishes and the person who took the order wrote down our order incorrectly even though when ordering we ordered by the number only, not by reading the name. But she made a mistake like that (she also didn't check back the order), she kept coming in and out to ask if the order was actually incorrect. Even when we read the name of the dish incorrect and it wasn't the same as on the menu, she seemed impatient and kept saying that they didn't have it (like when we ordered katsu curry-katsu kare, we read it as 'kare katsu' but she said no, they don't have it, they only have 'katsu kare' with a cold attitude and she didn't give us the menu back in her hand that we returned earlier so we could double-check the names, she just held it, spoke impatiently and left right away without saying anything). Anyway, the food was okay and the space was also...

I used to eat here two or three times a week. Sometimes alone, sometimes with other friends or co-workers. It has never occurred to me that it could take so long to wait for your lunch. Until recently, I have to wait almost 30 min for my ordinary lunch order. Today, we have waited for over 40 min. (It only took us 10 min. to finish the lunch.) The waiter and the waitress ignored our request again and again. The only thing they could tell us was just "wait". Finally, the lunch orders were delivered, but they gave us the wrong orders. Anyway, after starving for 40 min., we are so hangery that we can eat the waiter...

Great quality of food and nice service. We didn’t have to wait long until we got the food we ordered. The sushi set is 35€ but with its quality its worth it. A positive surprise was that we both received a free cup of hot tee after meal, which made just a nice ending. ** Revisit in July 2023. The price became higher compared to earlier time. Sashimi plate for 35 eur seems a bit too pricey. My friend took the seafood don which was charged with a more reasonable price. Generally the food was still nice but maybe there is still somewhere else for Japanese food. One good point is that there is AC in summer.

So z.B. Ankimo (Leber vom Seeteufel), Gindara, Krebsfleisch in Essig, Jakobsmuschel-Sashimi usw. Take it or leave it. Ich empfehle: leave it.
