Nonno Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Frankfurt

I rarely write reviews, but this place truly deserves a warning to others. From the moment we walked in, the customer service was atrocious. A man around 50, who seemed to be the host or manager at the front, was extremely cold and unwelcoming. He insisted on seating us at the worst possible table, right by the entrance, despite the restaurant being half-empty. It wasn't until we told him we were about to leave that he reluctantly offered another option.

Unfortunately, things didn’t improve. Our waitress was shockingly rude and dismissive throughout the evening. To make matters worse, she walked between tables coughing openly without even attempting to cover her mouth — completely unhygienic and unacceptable, especially in a hospitality setting.

There was absolutely no sense of professionalism. The whole atmosphere felt like they were just trying to make a quick buck without any care for the customer’s experience. We left feeling like we had just been part of some poorly run operation, not a proper restaurant.

Do yourself a favor and eat literally...

Ich gehe super gerne ins Nonno Pizza & Pasta (ehemals Calma Chaos), vor allem für die Pizza! 🍕 Hier sind meine Gründe:

✨ Pizza: Die im Steinofen gebackene Pizza schmeckt hervorragend und überzeugt mit einem fairen Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. 🍝 Pasta: Auch die Pastagerichte sind sehr lecker, allerdings könnten die Portionen etwas größer sein. 🥗 Salate: Immer frisch! Mein Tipp: Bestellt den Salat ohne Dressing und macht Essig & Öl direkt am Tisch drauf. Das Balsamico-Dressing des Restaurants ist mir persönlich etwas zu süß (vermutlich wegen der Balsamico-Creme). ☕ Espresso: Richtig guter Espresso (Siebträger). 💳 Zahlungsmöglichkeiten: Man kann bequem mit Karte zahlen - sogar mit AMEX!

Service: Das Team ist stets freundlich und aufmerksam. 👏

💡 Mein Tipp für Gäste: In den kalten Monaten würde ich einen Tisch im hinteren Bereich des Restaurants empfehlen, da es vorne durch die Eingangstür etwas zugig werden kann. 💡 Mein Vorschlag ans Restaurant: Vielleicht das Balsamico-Dressing etwas weniger süß gestalten – das könnte auch anderen Gästen gefallen.
